If You Are Preparing For Any Government Exam Luke Upse, Cse, Upsc Cds , Afcat Or Ssc Cgl Then Taking Up Humanity Courses Is The Best Choice, As I Am Also A Upse Cse Aspriant.
Our College Also Has Separte Cell For All Placement Activites Ad It Has 10+ Mrmbers Playing Their Part For Succesful Implementation Of The Plans.
Faculty Of The College Is Awesome, They Are Very Supportive No Matter They Are From Teaching Staff Of Non Teaching Staff.

Dislikes

There Is No Company That You Hardly Visits The College Campus And Take I Nterview From The Students.
Infrastructure Is Too Old And Not Big In Size.
Only Minimum Semester 5 Students Are Eligilble For Placement.

Life At Bhagat Sigh College Is Very Chill. There Is No Attendance Issue. That Means That If You Would Not Attend Even A Single Lecture, You Are Allowed To Give Exams Without Any Complications. Also ,If You Want To Pursue Any Professional Degree Along With Graducation, You Can Do Iy Without Any Burden As There Is No Attendance Issue. the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Placements is for 3rd year students. Many good companies visit our campus like bajaj capital, oberoi group. Highest package is around 22 lakhs. We have a lot of internship and placement opportunities come in for students.

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.

THE SRCC OF EVENING COLLEGES

I personally preferred an evening college compared to the off campus colleges nd somewhere i feel that my descision was correct. In future I'll be preparing for government examinations so for that matter evening timings are better for me as compared to morning. According to the scores which i got, this is the best college I could get and m very much happy about it. Being in the evening shift i made freinds from the morning shifts as well and at the end i realized that it's all same. Admission in Delhi University is purely merit based of CUET. One can take admission in this college by writing CUET exam and scoring certain marks for it. The application process was long and thorough.
