Course Curriculum Overview

Since I am from Biotechnology Department our faculties are very friendly and helpful. They really guide us so well and provide us with the best teaching. Exams often happen in 3 months. It is not difficult to pass if we study well we can pass.

Class Size: 33Course Fees: INR 560000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I have done two internships. Both are Biotechnology related. One from SHRM BIOTECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD And another from JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY. I Have worked on DNA Isolation and Bacteria culture. They don't provide a stipend for UG students.

Placement Experience

Placements are great as said before. From the 7th Sem, students start getting Placements. The student even gets offers from more than 7 companies. The highest package is 72lpa and the average is around 9lpa. I would sit for the Placements and side by side would prepare for Masters

Fees and Financial Aid

For this 4-year course, I have to pay 5.6L to the college. Our college provides us with the best job opportunities and placements. Moreover, I would like to stress more on my department that it provides us with internships and research-based work.

Campus Life

Life on campus is fun. There are different clubs in our college like Dancing Singing Theatre English Rotaract etc. Well, there are basically two fests that happens one is Eutopia that's the literature fest and another is Ecstasia the cultural fest. The library has more than 10k books. The classroom has got a sensor-based projector and board of course. Yoga classes and games are also held in our college.

Admission

My Admission process went super smoothly. The application form and other details of the college will be found on the official website of our renowned institution. There is no such improvement that would like to see in the admission process.

Reality of IIT KGP

Placement Experience:

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

SURTECH REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
