Students passionated towards their studies.
Campus life is vest according to me in main campus.
Faculty is pretty awesome and chill. easy to understand

Dislikes

Their is 75% compulsory attendance which i think is a con.
Usage of college libraries are restricted after a certain time.
Infrastructure of west campus it needs to be improved little bit.

I am Pursuing Mechanical engineering specialising in electric vehicles ( MEEV ). It's a very scopic branch but because of the west campus students don't prefer to take admission in this branch. But according to me, it's the best branch for a student who wants to form his career in any branch because few companies also allow MEEV students to sit in their placements and especially because of electric vehicle many more companies especially comes for the MEEV branch only. The faculty is pretty decent we .can understand them easily

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 218000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The starting fee for 1st year is 2.18 lakh but it increases gradually year by year. And if I talk about scholarships I don't know much about it. And yes you can easily get a campus placement if you work a little more than others I am not saying to work like a topper but decent preparation and also having fun in college can help you to get a decent placement.

Campus Life

The campus life I not that much good on the west campus but the west campus students enjoy their campus life by indulging in main campus activities. All societies allow students from other campuses to work with them and also offer us the head seats in the society and clubs.

Admission

If you have scored 60% in maths physics and chemistry then you can apply for this college through JEE entrance exam available for all of India. If you are from Delhi you will get a special reservation for the seats of college. According to me the most important. Improvement is to give more chances to outside Delhi students because of Delhi reservation they don't get enough opportunities to take admission in NSUT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

College that give life a purpose.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

Students start interships as early as the end of 1st year. and they become eligible for campus placement in the 4th year.there are more than 25 companies which visit the college and around 100 students get placed. Highest pakage last year went around 20LPA, and average was around 9LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In each sem we have to give exams twice - mid terms and end terms. They are not much difficult the level is moderate. Teaching method is also good bit sometimes they are not able to complete the syllabus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

I have applied for a lot of colleges incl. IPU, DTU, NIT, IIIT, etc. I simply didn't get the admission in all of them but out of the ones I got admission is NSUT was the best choice. I faced rejection from DTU,NIT,IIIT because I didn't got a top level rank in my JEE MAINS exam. As of the admission process, it was pretty smooth. Nsut and insides

•In jac 3rd round I got igdtuw which is also a tier 1 college but not better than nsut so when I got nsut ice in jac 5th round I was really happy as it is a Delhi's tier 1 college and it's alumini is also very good like aman dhattarwal and more •for admission one has to give jee main exam and then apply for jac counselling and there is a fees for giving jee mains exams around 800-1000 as well for jac counselling around 1000-1200 and you can check the cutoff for jee main exam as per your reservation and categories...Read More

Reality of Nsut west campus

Counseling is done by jac and the process is carried out very smoothly. The student should be careful while reading the notification released by the jac.The student having reservation benefits must have their certificates ready otherwise they might lose their seat to someone having less marks. Jee mains is conducted 2 times in a year January and April. Addmission in Nsut is done on the marks obtained in jee mains ....Read More

The admission process takes place on the basis of your Jee main score/rank. Eligibility of course is that the student is an individual of India and successfully attempted Jee main entrance exam. I took admission in 2019 in Ch. Brahm Prakash Govt Engg college through IP University but now it was linked with Nsut called Nsut west campus.
