Campus, facilities, placement and infrastructure

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Computer science because this is the most demanding course in today's IT sector. The course curriculum was really good and the faculty members are knowledgeable. They provide enough info about a certain topic and you'll get to learn many things in the classroom. Exams were not that difficult you just have to study the basic things.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 1400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There were 300+ companies and around 200 provided internship+ full-time offers, which is really good I think. If you want to secure your career you should try this college. Stipend was decent and the projects you'll work on are also good.

Placement Experience

4.5

In my time around 300+ companies came in the placement season. Companies provided good packages around 12lacs per annum. 90% of students got placed till now and still counting. The placement ratio is really good.

Fees and Financial Aid

You can get a scholarship if your rank is under 1000. Fees are basic like every other college which will be fixed throughout the course. You can get a decent job and internship opportunities as well.

Campus Life

The Fest has organized in which celebrities came. You'll enjoy a lot in the campus because it is a fully green campus. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned. You can get into sports as well if you want. Many societies are also there in which you can take part.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms were neat and clean. They take care of cleanliness a lot, bathrooms was also clean. The meal provided in the mess was good in taste. No need to rent a PG or something. Hostels are very good in size as well.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

First, we gave an entrance exam to get the admission. The form was free of cost and the paper was super easy. Then they called us for counseling based on our rank. After that, we submit the fees and got our hostels as well.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . The exams are not so frequent and the papers can be rated as moderate

IITs offer a very good package actually. Being a second generation IIT, our college is growing day by day and our professors are working very hard to improve the placement activities. Although it is not that much bad. Average package in our college is more than 10 lakhs.

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
