Likes

the curriculum and study pattern and the teachers.
canteen food is great u get a ton of things in there and the quality is go.
location of the college it is in west delhi where there are many place to hang out with frnds.

Dislikes

infrastructure is worst buildings are very old and the furniture is very old and uncomfortable.
no ac's in class in the month of june one can't bare to sit in a classroom full of students.
no sports facility u have to go to the nearby sports centre to play and on the top of that u have to pay for that separately to the guy sitting there.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is very good and qualified but they might have some behavior issues coz they treat girls better than boys as I have observed and the nature of the college is strict which means u have to submit the assignments on the given date if u get late u won't get marks and u need to get 75% attendance complete in the college else they won't let u sit in the exams.

Internships Opportunities

Internships come on WhatsApp groups and u can apply through WhatsApp and get in touch with them but I don't think that the college is providing that u have to find it on your own and get placed as an intern with the help of seniors and the seniors only send links and all for various internships and I think college provides but I am not sure.

Placement Experience

I don't have any idea about placements cuz I m not placed yet I m in 1st year and as I have heard it gives decent packages like somewhere in 3-4 lakh on average and it is decent almost 80-85% get placed and the rest all go for further studies or out of the campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is the cheapest price for btec u would be able to find as per my view and I don't see any other college giving this cheap price for B.Tech. Rest I think it is totally affordable for the middle class and low middle class too else one can apply for an education loan.

Campus Life

Campus life is the worst here. You won't get ac in the classes in 42-degree temperatures u have to sit in a class filled with 50 children and with only 4 fans. It is very hot and u won't be able to concentrate on your studies and it will all distracting.

Admission

It was easy the admission is taken based on the JEE mains result and one can get admission in this college with 80-90 percentile reservation also works in this college for Sikh minorities only The application form is available on their website i.e. www.ipu.ac.in. The application fee is 2000 (in 2022). dates i dont remember

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

Placement Experience:

My seniors got placed in the 7th semester and a few in the 6th as well. As per them, the placements are the best compared to all other IPU Colleges. Offers from abroad are too given here. For Computer Related Branch, placements are to 90%. Highest Package has surpassed 1 Cr, and Avg. package is about 8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, average package goes from 5lpa to 10lpa. Highest it has went 84lpa in Amazon so far and can for sure grow in future. 7th semester students become eligible for placement drives and companies like amazon, microsoft, newgen, tcs, ibm, etc are major recruiters here. Around 80% students do get placed but you can definitely be among them by refining your skills and maintaining a good cgpa. I plan to go for off campus placements as well as I'm interested in AI related roles but hoping for even better.

DTU , fun college life , good placements and endless joy

Placement Experience:

The placements are fantastic , many companies like google amazon and FAANG companies come here . Although i cant compare it with top IIT s but still a 25 lakh per annum package in CSE is still remarkable. The placement cell is often influenced by Placement coordinator but then DTU takes action against them and debar them from placements . If one does not get placement in DTU. , the DTU tag will obviously be more than useful in after course placements

Placement Experience:

Placements begin from 3rd year end and go on for the complete 4th year. Companies like ZS associates, google, amazon, juspay etc have visited the campus in the past. Highest package for the last year was more than 1 crore. Avg package is somewhere between 7-9 lpa. 50-60 % students get placemnt from the college including off campus placements. I plan to either start my masters or join a good job if possible as whatever situation arises at the end of my course at this college.

I applied to all the colleges that come under GGSIPU and in the 1st round I got HMR and in the 2nd round of IPU counselling I got this college and then I booked this seat and got my seat allotment letter after paying 60000 for the required seat allotment fees! I chose this college over HMR because HMR is very far away from my home and this college is still nearer as compared to HMR As I said I applied to all the GGSIPU colleges but I got HMR is first round which is very far away from my college so I didnt chose it. So i didnt get rejection from any other college! The admisision process is very simple. You get the college on the basis of your JEE MAINS rank. Eligibility of this course and admission in college is 60% in pcm in 12 boards exam and jee mains entrance exams with good percentile.
