KIIT - Overall Review.

It is having a great student ratio. Teachers are highly qualified having M.Sc in research. If you've attended all the classes you can easily grab 9 pointers here. All the classes are here highly equipped with modern Smartboards and teaching equipment. All the lectures are recorded in E-Library

I did my internship in my third year with a financial tech giant named Highradius Corporation and later with a startup named ROBOMQ in Jaipur. Both of them were paying a good amount of money as CTC but not as Stipend during Internships. It was AI based Full Stack Project.

Students are eligible for sitting in placements from the third year and no objection certificate is also given so no student faces any problem in making his career. Average package 8-9LPA. Due to the recession, there was a lot problem this year many companies came for registration but didn't take candidates for placement.

Fees are almost hiked after 4 years. If you need a hostel it would take around 20Lacs for 4 years. I got placed in Highradius Corporation and then in One of the leading tech startups RoboMQ, I have done two internships with a decent amount of stipend.

Life is extremely good. You'll be allotted KP-7 in the first year. It's a complete AC Hostel. The inauguration of a new library has been done which you can compare to a Microsoft Office and internally equipped with similar facilities.

The mess was given at the rate of 17500 per semester but later changed to 22500. All the food given is highly checked and regulated by the safety department. Mess includes food for all south Indian and north Indians.

I gave KIITEE Exam which was a free application that any candidate could give and based on his rankings he has to choose whatever stream he has to choose from. I got a 3500 Rank in this exam and was allotted the core CSE, which is considered to be the best here. There are few benefits for the SC and ST Candidates though as the founder has done so many things for Odisha and the tribal communities so there is a special weaver for STs. The admission process is smooth, you just have to give the exam and then get a rank, and you'll probably get a few dates for the counselling and then you'll be allotted a course as per the ranking.

Yes. I had faced a normal discussion during counseling and yeah obviously there was a KIITEE Entrance Examination which is conducted all over India across various centers.I was preparing for JEE so I had all the knowledge needed in KIITEE.
