Remarks

Best in Campus selection best college for the one who knows to use resources well.

Entrance Preview

Karnataka CET Rank 997 Being a top engineering college for the above rank I could get Chemical itself. As I was interested in chemistry opted it They say RV is best for campus selections.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Chemical department has 1 section per year while other core branches have more. We have self study component where we have to pick research topics and have to present seminar. But being lower department some times we are ignored.

Internships Opportunities

As I am in second year haven't done any yet. But they have promised about getting us one.

Placement Experience

Few core companies come for chemical because many have started to recruit through GATE .

College Events

8th mile goes for 2 days And whatever others day I haven't seen such a grand fest in any other college of Bangalore. Pro shows events workshops etc .

Fees and Financial Aid

Many scholarship facility are available but only one per student.

Campus Life

Campus is 52 acre and each department has different block A new food court is good.nice infrastructure. People from various parts of India and even international students are also here Students are free to wander in campus Good sports facility.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is not great Different years have 4 different hostel so no ragging food is good and as far as I know its cheap just 64k than other college.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

I am not alumni but I have seen them visiting college function now and then.

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

"BIET Davanagere: A Hub of Opportunities with Room for Improvement"

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

IIT Dharwad Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.
