Course Curriculum Overview

The Faculty members are good enough to teach. There are 2 sessional exams and 1 end-semester exam per semester. Exams are moderate level if you study class notes it's enough. The faculty also teaches very well.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 16350 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for 1st year B.Tech course is 16350 which is paid during admission time. There are many scholarships also for students. Fees are very less as compared to private colleges. Jamia Millia Islamia is one of the most beautiful Universities.

Campus Life

There is an engineering library and almost every book is present there to study. There is a central library also which is very big and there are lots of books available there. Zakir Hussain Library is very beautiful. All sports are played on the campus.

Admission

Admission through Jee mains exam. By scoring a good percentile, one can get a computer science branch in a B.Tech course. There are many reservations also like OBC, SC, ST, Muslim quota, and women quota also. Jamia Millia Islamia is one of the most beautiful Universities with a NIRF 3.

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. Admission and carrier development cell is there in the college and provides good support but for average packages but for top packages only on your own self you have to grab them. One campus packages are between 3 lakhs 5 lakhs up to 10,20 lacs and highest once even up to 64 lakhs but off campus goes up to crore.

Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

The main reason of rejecting other two colleges and joining Jamia was that Jamia is Central University.
