KIIT: Unveiling the Academic Journey of Excellence and Innovation.

I chose this course because BTech was always my interest and CSE was the branch I was always interested in. Due to online coaching classes, I was not able to get a government college but I did my best to get into this college. Faculty of this college is good and quiet qualified. I mean they are from IIT's and NIT's and have a lot of research paper published by their name on it. Teaching method here is also very interactive and they are pretty flexible between offline and online classes if the conditions demand so. Exams were conducted timely and were doable.

Many companies come for offering internship here. As I am a first year student, I am a little less aware about the companies names but I saw somewhere that GE India ltd. offered a stipend of 40000/month and PPO of 15-16 LPA.

From 5th semester, students start getting internships and placements. Numerous companies visit here including a lot of startups which offer more learning opportunity for the students. KIIT average package stood at INR 8.5 lakhs whereas KIIT highest package stood at INR 62 LPA. More than 3800 job offers were made by 300+ recruiters . 62+new recruiters also participated in KIIT placements 2023. Over 92% students got placed this year and many others opted for higher studies. My plans are diversified. I might opt for some governments job because I am slightly interested in it. Or maybe just involve in thee placement stuff and all that.

As far ad I have researched there is no fees hike. Per year cost to study here is around 500000 excluding your personal expenses. Let me break it down : 175000- academic fee per semester 22500- mess fees per semester 40000- hostel fees per semester( for 2 bed non-AC)

KIIT FEST is the name of the annual techno-cultural fest of KIIT. It is celebrated around september-october. Coming to library, I would say this university has got like one of the biggest instituional library in the country. On top of that the 5-6 storey central library is the cherry on the top. It provied the best educational resources for students as well as teachers. Classrooms are fitted with smart board, PC, projectors, cameras, AC's, etc. Sports facilities are also top notch here in the college. They have a separate sports complex for every campus ( Yes the university is divided into small numerous campuses). There are around 25-30 societies and clubs which comes under KSAC( KIIT Student Activity Centre )

The rooms here are quiet spacious and have almirahs, windows, AC (if you opt for one), cloth hooks,etc. I would rate meal here as average. Maybe I am not native of Odisha that's why I cannot understand the taste. For Non-Vegeterians it's good but for Vegeterians it is average. Registration fo hostel room type is done on the website when your are informed about it through an email.

Eligibility for this course is that you should paas your 12th with PCM or PCMB. My admission was done on the basis of KIITEE which is basically the entrance exam of KIIT. Admissions were also taken on the basis of jee mains percentile. I scored 84% in KIITEE and got CSE branch in first round of counselling. The application form can be filled from the website kiit.ac.in. I dont't exactly know the cutoff but my rank was around 7000 and I got CSE
