Course Curriculum Overview
During my 12th standard, I had taken computer science as my subject, and in that, I liked microprocessors as a subject and that's why I wanted to pursue my bachelor in technology in electronics and telecommunication, at the same time I had an interest in MBA, that's why I chose this course. We have many faculty members coming from IIM, IIT and who have a lot of experience. Their term exams have a 50% weightage, meanwhile, the internal continuous assessment has a 50% weightage, but it is easy to score.
Internships Opportunities
Many different companies like Nomura, Morgan Stanley, and Siemens Financial Services came under the finance profile. In the business analyst profile HDFC life, EY was there. In marketing Jio creative labs were prominent recruiters.
Placement Experience
A lot of top companies with good profiles for a fresher come to our college and the compensation ranges from 8 to 25 lakhs generally. Many students were placed in EY last year. Typically companies like Jio Creative Labs, Nomura, Deloitte, and Morgan Stanley do hire from Our college. Our college does have 100 % placements which were seen in the last few years.
Fees and Financial Aid
Currently, our fees are at 4.5 Lakhs and there have been no hikes as such. I secured an internship at Schlumberger through on-campus placement with a stipend which highlights that there are good internship opportunities at NMIMS.
Campus Life
NMIMS is a pretty happening college, there are a lot of events that occur throughout the calendar year. We have our marketing, finance, editorial, student research, social, and alumni cells which encourages networking and allows a student to connect easily. Sattva which is the cultural fest is held annually and is pretty famous.
Admission
For the entrance, I had to give the Npat exam, and the exam was based on our logical, mathematical English, and general knowledge awareness. The details of the application form, date are available on the college website and you can contact the staff through the email ID. The cut-off was around 1800 for IT and 3500 for EXTC in MBA Tech Courses. The overall admission process voice is very smooth And the student coordinators assisted us during the process.
