There is a 2 step and sometimes 3 step process for admission. First is the CAT (common aptitude test) and based on the percentile scored you get shortlisted for the interview round which is around 96 for the general category. You get selected based on the overall score with different weightage given to CAT score, Interview, work experience and X, XII and grad marks. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from any reputed institution. They should have minimum perentage of 55%. After checking eligibility, they have to take CAT, which usually takes place in month of november every year. The form for CAT can be found on iimcat.ac.in Fill out the form and choose all the IIMs you want to participate in. The cut off for Udaipur was 92 percentile. In order to be eligible for the course, one must have a graduation degree with a minimum score of 60%. The college takes in students by considering the scores of CAT. These forms are rolled out in the month of August and the window for filling is open till September. The candidate can apply for IIM U using the same form. After filling out the form, there is a window for editing basic details which opens in the month of October. The main exam happens once a year in the last week of November. The application fee was somewhere around Rs.1800 when I had filled out the form. The candidate's CAT scores are considered for calling students in the next phase of WAT/PI.
