Review of IIMU-DEM Course

I took this Digital enterprise management as it is highly relevent to the current digital era. It prepares us with all the tools, technologies and aspects needed for this current IT landscape whihc involves AI, Blockchain, Cloud, Digital transformation etc while also preparing us in business grounds. There are usually 2-3 quizzes 1-2 exams for each subject. The teaching methods is mainly case based discussion which makes the classes really interesting.

The placement process startes from the second term in month of October. Highest package: 33 LPA Lowest Package: 15 LPA Mean and Median around 20 LPA Students getting placed is almost 100% (2-3 who dont get placed also receives support from placement department after college)

Tuition Fees: 20,00,000 a year Hostel Fees: 2,30,000 a year for Executive accomdation and if standard room it is 60000 lesser. But for one year MBA usually we get Executive accomdation which is more spacious with attcahed bathroom. Refundable Caution deposit: 30,000

Annual culturals inter college- Audacity Annual sports intra college event - Reverence Cup There are lot of functional and recreational clubs and committee in the college. Functional includes placecomm, messcomm, infracomm, prepcomm, Saksam(entrepreneur club), ConsultU, fino mina etc and Recreational clubs include lakesides (sports club), bikers and trekkers club, culcomm, octaves etc The sports facilities include badminton indoor courts, basketball indoor and outdoor courts, football cum cricket ground, chess carrom foosball, table tennis

Executive room - 1 per room Attached bathroom Very spacious single bed and rolling chair Matress Cleaning of rooms once in two days Mess is hygenic but taste is average. Menu is managed by messcomm and feedbacks from students are incorporated.

I applied for IIMK PGP - BL programme but didnt clear the interview. Then i got selected in IIMU DEM programme. I mainly chose this program because of its relevance to current digital era. The admission process involves applying for the college and submitting the video resume. Once selected there is an interview after which the selected list is rolled out. There are 5 phases of admissions. CTA/GRE/GMAT scores are accepted.

The faculty-to-student ratio is nearly 1 faculty for 10 students. The relationship between students and faculty is amazing and they are approachable but prior intimation and appointment is needed. Each subject has its own method of evaluation. The evaluation menthods are quizzes which can be either surprise or normal, mid-terms, end terms, projects, assignments, class discussion etc and percentages of allocation are dependent upon faculty.

There was no GD for one year MBA. The application involves a video resume after which shortlisting for the the interview happens. The interview involves questions related to your previous work experience, why MBA, why this course, general knowledge, business oriented questions etc

Hostel timings : 6 am - 10 pm after which proper reason is required Gym is present which is open most the times with almost all equipments Library is prsent which is really good with reading rooms. The library is situated in hanging bridge which is one of the most beautiful spots in the campus. The open air theatre is extremely good its architecture is mind blowing. There is a lake inside the campus. There is a small kirana stores cum bakery which inside the campus. The night life is vibrant with people meetings - study group discussions, preparing for competions, club activities etc
