Course Curriculum Overview
I rate the course curriculum 8/10 because I got the placement with the best in the company's which came to our university for the placement drive. The course which I chose was HR and Marketing, which helped me in my real-world career.
Internships Opportunities
The major drawback with the university is that they do not have internship opportunities with them. It is we who have to deal directly with the companies for the internships. In my previous undergrads i got an opportunity of international internship opportunity with AIESEC.
Placement Experience
Placement drives are organised, and many good companies comes in the attraction. for hiring. There are different rounds for the selection process, and every round has its own uniqueness with group discussions, debate and following with HR interaction.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have got two of the scholarships in the same course in the 1st and 2nd year as well. My fee was 3 Lac without scholarship for 2 years, and with my first scholarship, I got 20000 Rs reimbursed, and for the second scholarship, I got 25000 according to my marks in the first year.
Campus Life
I had participated in lots of groups like the social awareness group, arts group and the Communication skill group. These all groups helped me in developing my skills towards society, confidence in talking with people, learning road shows, etc.
Admission
The first thing which I liked was that it provided me with a scholarship, which was not provided by the other universities I applied for, which helped me to plan other things according to my budget. The admission process was really hassle-free as I had filled the admission form online and went directly to the university to pay the fee in instalments without standing in any queue.
Faculty
As I have previously mentioned, the faculty were really supportive and interactive regarding any course issue or even personal issues. If we discuss the course structure, it was divided into 4 semesters, in which the first two semesters consist of general subjects and the other half consists of the speciality of the subjects you choose, like HR, FINANCE, MARKETING.
Night Life
Usually, every university has its own strict timings for everything, so do our university also has. The nightlife was more for the sports and the theatre plays. Many things were with restrictions as well like moving out timings and sitting in public areas like garden and inside university classrooms.
Other Applied Colleges
Manipal University - [MUJ] | Master of Business Administration [MBA]
I got scholarship from Poornima University for the same course.
