Course Curriculum Overview

4

I would rate the B.Tech CSE course curriculum around 7.5/10 in terms of relevance and overall coverage. One of the main reasons I chose this course was that the curriculum covers core computer science subjects like Data Structures, DBMS, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, and Software Engineering. These subjects are important both for placements and higher studies, and they form a strong theoretical base.

Internships Opportunities

2

Internship opportunities in the college are limited but useful if you’re proactive. Most students start looking for internships from 2nd or 3rd year. The college mainly supports internships with local IT companies and startups in Jaipur, offering roles like web developer, software intern, testing/QA intern, and data support intern. Some internships come with a small stipend, usually around ?5,000–?10,000 per month, while many are unpaid but provide experience and certificates. Internship work mostly involves basic projects like website development, database handling, testing modules, or working on small applications. These internships help in building practical exposure, project work, and resumes, but students usually depend more on off-campus platforms for better opportunities.

Placement Experience

3

Placements in my college are average but improving. Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. A few companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture (off-campus support), Capgemini, and some local Jaipur-based IT firms visit the campus. Most offers are for software trainee, support, testing, or analyst roles. The average package is around 3–4 LPA, while the highest package goes up to 8–10 LPA (mostly off-campus or through exceptional performance). Around 60–70% students get placed through campus or combined on/off-campus efforts.

Fees and Financial Aid

in my first year i got 50% scholrship of army schem. but after 1 sem result if you have any back your scholarship will remove and a graph is given accoding tog cgpa you scholarship is given . for my batch the total fees is 6 lacks

Campus Life

4

Campus life is pretty decent and mostly active during events. The annual fest usually happens around Feb–March, and the technical fest is held in Oct–Nov, which are the most fun times on campus. The library has enough textbooks and reference books for regular study, and classrooms have projectors and basic smart-class setup. Labs are okay, though most students use their own laptops.

Hostel Facilities

4

I stayed in the college hostel, and overall the experience was decent and manageable. Rooms are usually shared, with basic furniture like bed, table, chair, cupboard, fan, and Wi-Fi. Cleanliness is okay, not luxury-level but acceptable. The mess food is average. The menu is fixed with regular veg meals, sometimes repetitive, but manageable if you’re used to hostel life. Most students eat outside occasionally for a change. Hostel registration was simple, done during admission itself. The fees are affordable compared to private PGs around Jaipur, and it includes mess charges.

Admission

I chose this college after comparing it with a few other engineering colleges mainly on the basis of fees, location, admission flexibility, and overall academic environment I received confirmed admission offers from two private colleges, but their fees were significantly higher, and one of them was located far from my hometown, which would have added hostel and living expenses. The government/aided college had a much higher cutoff, and I could not secure a seat there due to rank limitations.

Faculty

2

i dont sure of total number of stafff so they cant provide spcific daya but i can but the faculty of our collage is very rude they have very stong attitude and they think students is fool according to their point if view.

Night Life

4

Nightlife around the campus is calm, not party-heavy. Inside campus, the gym usually closes by evening, library by 7–8 PM, and cafeterias by 8–9 PM. Hostels have in-time around 10–10:30 PM, so late nights mostly mean chilling inside. Students usually unwind by late-night canteen snacks, hostel room hangouts, movies, music, or group talks. Outside campus, nearby cafes, tea stalls, and food joints are popular till late evening. Some students also go for short drives or coffee runs. The locality is generally safe, but most students prefer not roaming too late at night unnecessarily. Overall, nightlife is simple and relaxed, which actually helps balance studies and college life.

The placement scenario at my college is decent and improving over time. Students usually become eligible for campus placement from 6th or 7th semester . Several companies for different sectors visit the college for recruitment mainly from IT, service and some core sectors . The roles offered are mostly for entry level positions . The average packages offered is around 5-7LPA while the highest can go up to around 8-10LPa depending on company and student performance. Approximately 70-80% students got placement through campus drives.

The campus placements are up to the mark. Students become eligible for placements from 6th semesters onwards. Even with recession going on during my time, the placement cell somehow managed to get good recruiters in the college and get a lot of students good offers. More than 160 companies visited to give more than 2000 offers. Highest package was from my class only which was 52 LPA and average was 6.8 LPA. Microsoft offered the highest placement and the profile was software developer. Almost 75 percent students got placed. I have completed my degree and I'm not starting my own thing. Not pursuing this sector anymore.
