Remarks
Curriculum is good. Management wasn't. Placements and Internships is pathetic.
Course Curriculum Overview
Heavily reliant on case study methodology. So apt for real life scenario understanding. Very strong faculty, especially HR. They have got very good industry interface and will help you in bridging the classroom teachings with what the industry actually requires from fresh graduates.
Placement Experience
Internship and placement is utterly pathetic. Had to fend for myself for both. If you are an average student in marketing, you have good chances of meeting your expectations.
College Events
Sports Day Freshers party Annual Day Alumni Meet Inter-College Debate competitions Food festival Mock GD - PI Assessment Centre (Mock) Industry interface sessions Cultural festivals Corporate Social Responsibility activities Public Awareness programs
Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive. Considering the ROI point of view in placements. The accommodation facilities is also highly expensive. Library deposit was reimbursed after extensive follow-up also to an extent of altercations. Infrastructure and building facilities also not apt.
Fees and Financial Aid
No. I didn't avail loan. My parents helped me managing the same. No scholarship facilities were available in our times. Although, now they have started some.
Campus Life
It totally is self-induced. Dorm parties also are lit. Gender ratio is heavily imbalanced. We had just 5 females in a class of 25 Religious, ethnic, economic status was all pretty balanced. A good anti-ragging squad is in place. The faculties try to help the students to keep the environment lively.
Hostel Facilities
Yes. But quit right in the second month. Highly expensive. If you just venture out on your own, that'd be a great decision and you can save a lot of money. The campus is actually on highway, so not quite safe to avail the on-campus accommodation.
Alumni/Alumna
Yeah. The alumni association is active but very procrastinating. You don't actually get to meet quality alumnus. The management doesn't make an effort to rope in the cream. Most of the crowd that attends the alumni meet is those who have actually no relevance with career goals and are just there for a casual get-together.
Admission
Gave the entrance. Cleared it Cleared Merit list. Appeared for Interview and got shortlisted. Was given options among 11 campuses (8 colleges and 3 Universities) Chose Jaipur on the basis of distance from my hometown and relative ROI (As mentioned in the brochure)
Faculty
90 lectures / semester for every subject. Extensive curriculum for each specialization. 3-4 electives with most relevant study material. Interactive learning with only about 25 students per batch. Interaction with Industry experts is also very much useful.
