It campus which is full of greenery. I can't express the feel of night view of college
Its faculties are also very supportive. Here you can call your HOD in case of emergency.
It's lab full of all necessary instruments

It's mess food is the worst thing of this college
It's exam pattern which was totally waste.
It's rules for the students which is only in paper , not on existence

Course Curriculum Overview

I am a mechanical engineering student, and I am interested in this branch. Most of the faculties are IITIANS and the way of their teaching is very interesting. The faculties always help the student. The exams are on time.

My college also provides internships to the students. It also provides research internships and also helps students to find internships outside the college. So in terms of learning or developing skills, this college is best.

Placement Experience

The current median package given by companies in campus placement is 4.1 lakh but the college is improving its placement to students ratio. The previous year out of 470, 350+ students got placed with a good package.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is a Government University funded by the central government, so its fee is very less as compared to the other private colleges. I had to pay only 31000 per semester for my BE course which was about 250000 for the entire course.

Campus Life

Its campus is full of greenery. I expand over an area of 450 acres. There are a total of 43 technical and nontechnical societies in my college which play a very important role to develop the skills of the students. Books are available in the library.

Hostel Facilities

Its hostel facilities are also well and good. Its fee is also very less which is only 3500 Rs. per semester and about 2700 mess bill, we have to pay per month. All the rooms are in good condition. There are a total of 13 hostels in these colleges.

Admission

It admission process is quite easy, I had taken admission during corona period so every process was online. For admission in BE program, either you have a 3-year diploma degree or have a good rank in JEE Mains.

Placement Experience:

The placements at LPU are decent, the University provides placements to almost every student. The placement cell here is really very active. More than 1000 companies visit LPU during placement drives providing average package of 6-7LPA in CSE field. The highest package recorded was 2.5 crore from robotics and automation and 64 LPA in CSE department. 99% of students at LPU get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to join the corporate and work as a SDE or AI/ML engineer at MNC.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding and math were the subject that influenced me to take this course we are introduced to python and c / c ++ which are the major languages used in the society for AI/ML. Teachers should be more friendly and try to undertsand the students's prospective also and not rush the syllabus we have our exams every regular month (STs and evaluations and end terms)

I don't like any curriculum in our college one day they kept mid and sem exams on same day to be frank my 1st completed in just 8 months I joined in Jan in August end it was completed my first year actually it should be completed in 1 year .

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester a student is eligible for the placements, companies like TAFE, CLASS, Mahindra and Mahindra and many others come for campus placements. The average package is of 5-6 lacs and the highest package, according to me was gone for john deere company at the price of 15 lacs per annum. The students have 80-90% chances of getting placements. I personally want to pursue my higher studies and work on my future preneurs.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in this college in this college previous year average package was 9 lakhs 50 thousand and highest package was 60 lakhs but in this college number of students are very high so competition also increases.

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. I choose this college honestly as it was a centeral government college under josaa and has significantly less fees which would help me save for my master's . I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
