Course Curriculum Overview

I have my diploma from SLIET in mechanical engineering so I also preferred to graduate (BE) in Mechanical Engineering, through this I can gain more knowledge and experience of my core subject. There are 100 faculties in our colleges. All of them are highly qualified.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements are very good. In the last academic year 2021-2022, 350 students are placed out of 560, where 456 are eligible for placements. Many companies come for campus placements. Like Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, torent gas, Unilever, sml, and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay Rs 50000 per year as my tuition fee, and 7000 per year as my hostel fees. Every semester we pay 35k. Where security allowances are also included. Course fees and hostel fees are very less as compared to other colleges. So I think this is value for money. I got no scholarships.

Campus Life

Campus life in SLIET is good, and available all types of facilities are inside the campus, there is us total of 10 boys' hostels and 3 girls' hostels and there is SAC which is a Student activity center where students enjoy according to their own gym, football ground, volleyball ground, stadium, etc.

Hostel Facilities

There are 10 hostels for boys and 3 for girls .so every hostel have an availability of 300 students, there are 7 hostel for 3 seater room and 3 hostel for one seater room. Every year the hostel will be changed. The hostel provides you with Wi-Fi, a water cooler, a chair, and a bed.

Hostel Fee: INR 7000 per year

Admission

Here is the admission process: FOR BTECH -Through Jee mains Rank basis only. For BE-after diploma through Sliet Set 3 Entrance exam. All admission notifications are provided on the official site of Sliet -(sliet.ac.in).

Placement Experience:

The placements at LPU are decent, the University provides placements to almost every student. The placement cell here is really very active. More than 1000 companies visit LPU during placement drives providing average package of 6-7LPA in CSE field. The highest package recorded was 2.5 crore from robotics and automation and 64 LPA in CSE department. 99% of students at LPU get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to join the corporate and work as a SDE or AI/ML engineer at MNC.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding and math were the subject that influenced me to take this course we are introduced to python and c / c ++ which are the major languages used in the society for AI/ML. Teachers should be more friendly and try to undertsand the students's prospective also and not rush the syllabus we have our exams every regular month (STs and evaluations and end terms)

I don't like any curriculum in our college one day they kept mid and sem exams on same day to be frank my 1st completed in just 8 months I joined in Jan in August end it was completed my first year actually it should be completed in 1 year .

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester a student is eligible for the placements, companies like TAFE, CLASS, Mahindra and Mahindra and many others come for campus placements. The average package is of 5-6 lacs and the highest package, according to me was gone for john deere company at the price of 15 lacs per annum. The students have 80-90% chances of getting placements. I personally want to pursue my higher studies and work on my future preneurs.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in this college in this college previous year average package was 9 lakhs 50 thousand and highest package was 60 lakhs but in this college number of students are very high so competition also increases.

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. I choose this college honestly as it was a centeral government college under josaa and has significantly less fees which would help me save for my master's . Internship apportunities in SLIET, Longowal

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
