Course Curriculum Overview
I pursue Electrical Engineering, because I have always been fascinated by electrical and electronic gadgets. The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced in the field of Electrical Engineering. They hold advanced degrees such as Master's and Ph.D.. qualifications and often have industry experience as well. Term exams were conducted promptly, with a predefined schedule.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, students are eligible to sit for campus placements. Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, Cognizant, Byjus, Uber, and others. In our college, the Average package is 400,000, and the highest package is 32,00,000. Almost everyone gets placed in our college. I want to do higher studies after college.
Fees and Financial Aid
At our time(2019), we had the following fee structure: At the time of admission - Rs.38,250 -This includes tuition fees, Admission fees, Library and game fees. 2nd Sem- Rs.59,250- This includes Tuition fees, caution money, welfare, sports, and game fees. 3rd Sem- Rs.42250. 4th Sem- Rs.42250. 5th Sem- Rs.43250. 6th Sem-Rs.43250. 7th Sem- Rs.44250. 8th Sem- Rs.44250. Fees from the 4th semester to the 8th semester are for Tuition, Library, Student welfare, sports, and games. Studious students who have economic problems get TFW(Tuition Fee Waiver). And in Bengal, where students have scored good marks in H.S. get a "Swami Vivekananda" scholarship of Rs.60,000.
Campus Life
we have the annual fest "ADVAYA", Tech fest "PARIDHI" and have Inter-College fest "TECH EXTRA". We have "ROTARACT", "SARGAM", and "MEGATRONIX" following clubs in our college. Infrastructure-wise, our college is a little small, with no playground but get plenty of good friends around that. Classrooms are thoroughly cleaned every day and have CCTV camera security inside classrooms.
Admission
I got admission to Meghnad Saha Institute Of Technology through the WBJEE rank in 2019. The minimum eligibility criteria for aspirants is to clear the class 12 examination from a recognized board. They should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology as mandatory subjects. They must have secured the minimum eligibility percentage in the aforementioned subjects. The specific minimum eligibility percentage may vary depending on the program or specialization within B.Tech. It is important to note that admission requirements and criteria can change over time.
