Well, I am very much interested in Electrical Engineering from the beginning so that's why I choose this course for my career. Faculty members are very much helpful and they are knowledgeable, most of the Faculty members are PHD holders in their subjects.

I am not taking any internship from the college because I am placed when the internship opportunities are coming from the college side. But there are several companies who give the opportunity. One of my friends is getting an internship and the stipend given is good enough to work for a home facility.

From the 6th sem CSE, IT Branches students are eligible for campus placement and from the 7th sem other stream students are eligible for campus placement. There are 60 or more companies visited this year such as TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, Bosch etc. Till now 40 -50 % of students are placed.

The fee hike is a problem for all students because day by day fee structure is increasing but there are several scholarships provided by the West Bengal government which is accepting such as SVMC, OASIS, WBFC etc. I got a job from the college with a stipend. The overall Placement record is good.

A college hostel is not available, but many private hostels are available 500 meters from the college campus. The hostel is very good and well-balanced by the owners and ragging is strictly prohibited.

For the admission process, you have to clear the entrance exams like WBJEE, and JEE advanced. The cut-off rank should be under 40000, then you are eligible for admission. You can also take admission from TFW and reservation benefits (SC, ST, OBC etc.) are available here. Overall it's a good place for your career growth and success.
