Course Curriculum Overview

Our faculty has highly experienced they provide us with deep knowledge of each topic and clear doubt of each and every student quickly. Teachers quickly respond to the student for any problem. They are very friendly & very helpful to students. They give lectures in English's in general.

Class Size: 6400Course Fees: INR 54000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 6-semester students get internship opportunities and from the 7th semester, they are eligible for campus placement. the company is visited every year by TCS, Wipro, Byjus, Mindtree, saaf, and Infosys. About 80%student placed easily.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is different for branch wise. I am also lateral entry in Electrical Engineering department .My fees structure is per year 54000. The college provide available scholarship SVMCM scholarship also available in this college. I got 60000 thousand rupees in this scholarship per year.

Campus Life

the annual fest is held in the month of May -June and tech fest is also organized in the month of August. There are about 60k different kinds of books available in the library we have an online digital library that has tons of research journals and video lectures.

Admission

Abacus Institute Of Engineering And Management provides B.Tech in 5 different specializations and admission is through JEE Main/WBJEE score or rank. Candidates who have successfully passed the 10+2 examination with at least 45% Marks are eligible to apply for admission and lateral entry admission is also available once you have completed your diploma course then you admission in direct 2nd year.

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
