Course Curriculum Overview
The trimester system is followed. For the first years, there are midterms and end terms. There is relative grading. Anyone below a 3 GPA at the end of the first year is terminated. The exams are of medium-level difficulty. The domain clubs help students prepare for the exams in various ways.
Internships Opportunities
The placement committee works hard to get the entire batch placed for summer internships. Apart from that industry relations cell and other domain clubs bring in live project opportunities throughout the year for the students.
Placement Experience
There is 100 per cent placement. Everyone gets placed. Most students get placed in reputed companies with decent roles. The placement committee is very professional and works hard to get new companies on campus and get the batch placed for summers and finals as early as possible.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't receive any scholarship or financial assistance. I am still in college hence I have not been placed yet. However, our average package is 18.5 lakhs for the year 2023. Most students get placed in reputed companies with decent roles
Campus Life
There are several clubs and committees in college. The domain clubs keep organizing events, quizzes, and competitions every other day. Committees organize and perform the tasks under their responsibility. The library is well-equipped. Campus life here is quite busy.
Hostel Facilities
There is a double sharing room provided for everyone. It has bunk beds, an attached washroom and an AC. There's also wifi and Lan connection. The rooms are not very big but it doesn't matter because we're not in it most of the time.
Admission
They accept a Cat score. The cut-off was 95%tile for the general category. One has to apply to IIM Rohtak separately once the CAT result is announced. The institute then releases the shortlist. Shortlisted students had to sit for a personal interview and extempore in our year. The only problem is that they don't give weightage to work experience and give a lot of weightage to female and non-engineer candidates.
Interview Experience
There was no GD in my time due to the online process. There was however an extempore and personal interview for around 20 minutes. The extempore was for 1.5 minutes. 30 seconds to think about the topic and 1 minute to speak.
