Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum of IPU ( C.B.P.G.E.C comes under IPU ) is famous in all over india. its course structure is of high level focus on core subject. Its course structure is one of the main reason to put this university on top university list. Its examination system is good enough to make u learn something even if u are not like to study. Now here comes the tough one. Its is one of the main reason to dislike this college if you want to. Here is the brief information about faculty:- Most of the faculty are on contract basics .- Most of them comes from low level colleges.- Knowledge of Most faculty is very very poor.- Don't expect too much from them.Best part about faculty :- the best part is they are on contract basics because of lack of UPSC exam qualified teachers in india. Yes UPSC , this is government college u are more likely to get UPSC qualified teachers as per availability - teachers from IIT delhi , DTU etc. comes here to teaching .

Internships Opportunities

No, internship is not provided by this college . But summer training is provided by college for civil and environment branch not for I.T branch . you have apply for internship in various companies by yourself.

Placement Experience

2

Placement of this college varies year to year. First batch( 2011 pass-out) placement is good with average of 3.4 lakh .but from second batch on wards placement goes on decreasing year after year. So, overall placement is very poor. Not because of companies not interested but due to lack of college staff interest in placement.

College Events

3.5

college celebrate many event to encourage students. event and their detail are listed below :- Technical fest ( containing lan gaming , project presentation , quiz etc)- Cultural fest - Fresher Party ( conducted in college, pub etc.)- Sports Fest ( between all university colleges and also with DCE , NSIT)- Farewell Party participation is good on all this events and increasing year by year . all these event are managed by students itself and all are college funded .

4.5

Best part about this college " HOSTEL"- this college share hostel with IIT Dwarka , AUD .First best part of hostel - Mess food is very good- provide sports facility for cricket , T.T , basketball etc.- hostel have one common room for watching T.V- hostel

Alumni/Alumna

-senior are friendly and helpful to their juniors . they help you in every thing ( like notes, project, studies, etc)- alumni network is not very strong enough to help you in your placement etc. as college is new and there are just 5-6 passout batch yet.

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, average package goes from 5lpa to 10lpa. Highest it has went 84lpa in Amazon so far and can for sure grow in future. 7th semester students become eligible for placement drives and companies like amazon, microsoft, newgen, tcs, ibm, etc are major recruiters here. Around 80% students do get placed but you can definitely be among them by refining your skills and maintaining a good cgpa. I plan to go for off campus placements as well as I'm interested in AI related roles but hoping for even better.
