Remarks

College management is neutral they don't interfair too much. But it's hard to reach out to them in case you want to raise some concerns.

Entrance Preview

I completed my DIPLOMA - E&TC from MIT college in line and opted for bachelor's in Electronics and telecommunications. I was always amazed and curious about how things work behind your phone and make it possible for us to access huge amount of data. So I took E&TC .

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

It's pretty much like of too much old literature and nothing current technology. Outdated stuffs are taught which are no match to current advancement in technology.. but it's university who should get this done right. Most of the time is wasted in assignments and tutorials which are of no use. Less importance given to praticals and understanding. Subjects are also too outdated. Paper patterns doesn't assess your knowledge but your capacity to remember.

Internships Opportunities

NO I haven't heard or got anyone from my college who has got internship through college. May be I haven't came across anyone. But training and placement cell can work on this.

Placement Experience

1.5

In-house college placements are very low. Student often gets placed through pool campus or walk-ins by companies. Training and placement cells fees are taken from student but it's waste. NO good companies come for campus placement. College displayes name of students who are placed through other channel,on there brochure.

College Events

2

Events are organized throughout the year. There is annual social in dec-jan. Which includes sports, different cultural activites. Besides and intercollegiate event is also organized in which each Dept. Have there own competition. E&TC organize Robot race every year. Also there are events organized by our department separately

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's expensive as some students pay only half what we pay and some students don't even have to pay. But we can't do anything for that. But apart form that still fees are high as per me.. as compared to amenities and college infrastructure. but this is the situation in almost every college .

Fees and Financial Aid

by college No. Government do provide EBC scholarship. But yes college do help in paying your fees in installments.

Campus Life

2

College life is dull. Main reason is infrastructure and college premises.. There is no good place to just sit and relax, college seems to be place in desert.. no garden and proper covered parking. Events are held in college but response is low as no proper public transport available till college.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

I haven't ate in college hostel. But canteen food is worst and still expensive. No proper arrangements of "safe and clean" drinking water not only in canteen but whole college. And no one cares about it.. I personally feel food is made in unhygenic conditions.

Alumni/Alumna

Haven't been in touch with any alumni. But seniors are helpful and encouraging. But in start they do force you too much to pay for department committee ,which is frustrating at times.

Exam Structure

It's worst. There are online exams , the theory exams,Praticals exams . NO FIX passing rule by university it may be combined or may be separate. Create confusion in exams patterns if you fail and syllabus is changed in next year. If you pass online exam and fail in theory still you have to give both exams.

Admission

Well in Maharashtra we have a centralized admission process. So I took a Form from authorized CAP centre filled it with required documents. It has to be filled online and a soft and hard copy of receipt is given to you . Then a list is displayed on portal , then you have complete admission procedure in college. If you are not satisfied you have wait for 2nd and 3rd list to displayed as per seats available.

Faculty

2.5

Faculty are Good most of them are new in teaching so they do cope up with students. But the HODs and Dean who just have 3-4 years exp. Consider themselves as top notch professors . Don't know why but sometimes acts as dictators. Unnecessary involvement in students assignments review or lectures will not help them.. but still they do.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
