Likes
- We have gotten a pretty big campus with a turf where you can play 11 vs 11 football.Also we have 2 basketball courts , 1 volleyball court and 1 pickleball court and 2 badminton courts.
- Cafe is good , pretty open and big seating space
- Teachers are knowledgeable , help you a lot with your projects , assignments and are just like your friends. They are great in teaching
Dislikes
- We have the grounds for multiple sports but no equipments are given , bring your own. And also that you have to take permission before you can enter and play
- Cafe doesn't have a lot of options to eat from. And the prices are pretty average not high, not low
- Placements happens a lot , the placement department focuses on it greatly , but mostly the paygrade they are offering is pretty low. And some companies don't even communicate properly
Course Curriculum Overview
The overall curriculum is pretty great , but it all depends on the teaching style. More depending on VOCAL education is done , which can be improved by doing some visual education which will improve the understanding of the concepts to a deeper level , around 1-2 months gap is there between In Sem and End sem exams. End sem exam happen in April- May or in Nov- Dec
Placement Experience
From 7th Sem you are allowed for placements and placements details are shared with you. Many companies have visited like Accenture, Top Analytica etc , Avg package is 3.6LPA. Highest as of now in 7th Sem is 6 LPA this year (not official). 70% will get placed easily
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly Fees that I am currently paying is Rs 84,840. For OBC and EWS they have 50% off via the scholarship. SC/ST have around much lower fees. And Many Scholarshipes are available and college helps you to apply for them
Campus Life
We also have many clubs in the college, which do their own reasearch or classes in the weekends, you can learn something different there. Also we have Yearly Fest called Kshitij, a lot of sports , dances , singing happens and some skits too. Library available is pretty good. Some other Events happen too like DPPL etc
Hostel Facilities
The college accommodation - Hostel is pretty good , 4/3 students in each room with one bathroom , cleaning happens once a week .Hostel provides morning and evening snacks,lunch and dinner. Pretty Ok food not that great but is fine for a year. After that generally students shift to PG , as a lot of them are available for 5k-8k per month and they give breakfast and dinner only though.
Admission
So , basically any college you go it will be the same let it be the teachers or students. I had chosen other colleges too, but this one got assigned in CAP round so took it. Others colleges had little higher cutoff so didn't got into them. But overall as per my experience every college is the same. Just make a friend group in beginning a good one. And make sure you help each other grow as a person and in studies too. That way you and your friend will get great success
Faculty
We have a teaching guardian system in college where about 20 students are given to a teacher. The T.G will communicate about you with your parents let it be your attendance, mistakes or grades. Many faculties are pretty chill and knowledgeable but some are not that great they will come and read the ppt and go , basically you will have to study on your own. We have 3 internal tests( class tests called IAT) , 1 In-Sem ( Uni Exam) 30 marks and 1 End-Sem (70 marks ) each sem . And also practical exams
Night Life
Night life is pretty Ok, as your bot allowed outside after 8pm and outside your. Hostel building after 10pm. They are quite strict with which makes sense and doesn't too in some ways. But till 8pm no restriction you can enjoy
