Remarks

Bad? Nooo. Good..:) yes :) College was well managed and we spent our time beautifully, having a good time learning and making friends. Delhi University! The one place, where everyone aspiring for a decent and well groomed career should be, atleast once in their lifetime.

Entrance Preview

I got here after taking admission into sol, ie, correspondence, and got migration here in my second year after scoring good marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course structure is okayish. Commerce is a vaaaast subject, and to gain expertise, one has to, has to put in a lot of hard work. Here, in b com, we learned of basic accounts, economics, business management and a hint of maths :p Overall, the course was not at all tough, although sometimes the assignments were tricky, although fun

Internships Opportunities

I did not particularly participated in any internship programmes by companies that came in at hansraj. I did a summer internship at my brother's ca firm.

Placement Experience

3.5

Excellent. If you're and out performer, and if you have the right skills, Putting them in the right direction could get you to cloud 9. One of my knowns, got a package of 2 crores per annum, doing her graduation in commerce from srcc. She was although really really intelligent and hardworking.

College Events

5

We used to have all sorts of fun events The best was the freshers parties, that used to really awesome and fun. Our college was famous for out superb fests, people from all over the place would gather up..to watch top notch stars perform.. Hunny singh was famous at that time... and we bought him ;) Had fun..

Fee Structure And Facilities

Extremely affordable. The best part in fact. You get the best of fun and learning at really affordable prices . The fees is feasible and could be easily managed by a middle class family. The extracurricular expenses are the ones that get the holes in pockets ;)

Fees and Financial Aid

Not really, no Scholarship was not my cup of tea to be honest .yes i was hard working, but not that types of hard working. I just worked hard during the last days of exams and cleared.

Campus Life

4

Never noticed , as such And infact, a really cool thing was we never had any issues however petty, relating to any castes, or even gender. The boys were always after the gals, hot or not ;) :p Thats all that mattered at that time. There were ample of girls, as well as boys :) And if that one place in DU is Hansraj... you're in superb luck...as this place offers you the best of both worlds.., you get to have the best of fun and the best quality of education.

Hostel Facilities

4

No idea. Didn't have personal experience. Although I have heard boys hostel was pretty well managed. But girls hostel was a lil mismanaged. Can't comment properly though. Boys hostel is just adjacent to the college building. The guys from the hostel were cool and messy. Sometimes they used to come to classes after just getting up from their beds in their jammies

Alumni/Alumna

Ummm..never noticed as such, other than some guys who had passed out but still used to come around and hang around near the canteen

Exam Structure

In my times, we had annual examinations. But now they have started semester system. It was really easy if you just wanted to pass, stereotype questions, Just put in 2 3 days of efforts before the day of exams n we used to clear ;) Although yes, regularly and steadily preparing would get much better and appreciable results.

Admission

As mentioned above, i got migration here. Otherwise you just need to fill out application forms (which are easily available online now) and wait for the cut offs, after which you can consider your options. Be sure not to be dependent on just one course and college.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty was really good. We had really well qualified teachers, apt for their respective subjects. Pankaj garg sir was really helpful and always there to offer good career counseling whenever we needed. Had no issues with any faculty as such, all were good, knowledgeable and helpful
