The KIIT Review

I chose this course because I had an interest in it. The faculty-to-student ratio is a little high but there is no delay in response to any question or problem. The faculties are highly qualified with a lot of significant achievements. The term exams are held timely with no delay and if you concentrate in class then it is not too difficult to pass the exams.

I have recently got an internship in TechBairn as a Campus Associate and the stipend is commission based. It is a 3 months internship and they'll provide a certificate with a letter of recommendation. Many companies provide internship opportunities and the training and placement cell helps a lot in this case.

The placement of the college is good but purely skill-based. It's obvious that if you don't work hard, you'll have to rely on mass recruiters. The students become eligible for campus placements from the 5-6th semester onwards, starting from the internships to the placements in the 7-8th semester. The highest package offered this year was 62 lakhs per annum with an average of 8.5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed was around 90-95. My plan after getting a degree is to acquire a job with a minimum pay of 15-20 lakhs per annum. After having a few years of experience in the field, I may prepare for MBA.

The academic fee for B.Tech cse is 14 lakhs for 8 semesters. To avail of the scholarship, a student must achieve a rank under 1000 in the universities entrance exam. There's also a training and placement cell which helps with the smooth flow of internship and job opportunities.

Life at the campus is amazing. The university recently conduct its carnival on its 25th anniversary and it was a blast. There are many societies and the interaction is also great. You'll get to learn a lot from these societies. There is a central library building in the University and also, and each branch has its libraries, many of the hostels also have a reading room. Sports and extra curricular activities are also highly supported. A student will get a lot of opportunities to show their skills.

There are different types of hostel rooms and depending on the type the fee is distributed. I have opted for a 3-bed ac premium which comes with a spacious 3 bedded room with an attached bathroom that is cleaned every day. The fee for this room is 70000 per semester. The mess fee is the same for all hostels which is 22,500 per semester. The quality of the food is good. A balanced and tasty diet. The registration process for the hostel comes with the offer letter.

I took the online admission test and the paper was not very difficult and the cutoff was also not too high. The test is free of cost and application dates can be found on the official site of University. This year, the exams are being held in offline mode.
