Good infrastructure- MSIT provides well equipped laboratories, library, computer lab, seminar,and sport facilities.
Experienced faculty - college has a team of experienced qualified faculty who are actively involved in research and development activities.
Good placement opportunities - It provides a good placement opportunities with many reputed companies visiting the campus for requirements.

Dislikes

The annual fee for UG courses is 1.5 to 2.5 lacks per annum, which may be expensive for some students
It has playground which is little bit smaller than other colleges
The number and ammount of scholarship may be limited,making it difficult for some students to afford the tution fees.

First, I choose this course because I am interested in this course. The faculty members of this college are very professional and friendly . the faculty members are actively involved in research and development activities and many of them have published books and research papers in reputed journals.

The annual tuition fees for UG courses may range from Rs. 1.5 lacks to Rs. 2.5 lacks depending on the course category. It offers scholarships based on academic performance and economic background. Some popular scholarships are 1. West Bengal government merit cum scholarship 2. Jindal scholarship 3. MSIT merit scholarship (for top-performer students)

Campus Life

My life at the campus is wonderful. It has modern well-equipped laboratories, a library, a computer lab, a seminar hall, and sports facilities. All types of books are available in the library. One of the popular fests PARIDHI is a two days event platform for students to show their skills, creativity and innovation.

Admission

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam with physics, chemistry, and mathematics with at least 45 % marks from a recognised board. Candidates must appear WBJEE OR JEE MAIN exam After that, we can apply online on the official website. the application fee is 500 within the due date we have to submit an application.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
