Amazing studying experience with chemicals

I enjoyed studying in SJCE, I am sure other students also do.Because SJCE is an example of the education system which is a role model to all the other college.We have students who excelled in studies, art, culture etc.College management is well maintained.You need not juggle for any document you need from college even after graduation.It's pretty simple and faculty are GREAT.

I took CET(Common entrance examination).SJCE is one of the best colleges in the state.Anybody would recognise this high standard college for its quality of education they provide.And it's gateway for future of every student who studies in SJCE.

In the 1st year of Engineering, everyone would have common subjects which are the blend of all branches.Polymer Science and Technology is an amazing subject which provides knowledge on Chemical, Mechanical and Technology.Every day you learn something amazing and the experiments you do in labs are very interesting.I had Fluid mechanics, Thermodynamics, Polymer chemistry, CAD, Polymer kinetics, Organic chemistry, Polymer physics, Rubber technology, Tyre technology, Product Design, Industrial management etc. Wow, they covered almost everything in just 3 years of time!

No, It does not provide the internship and it doesn't provide any stipend.I am not sure about other department but in my department, I haven't seen or heard about it.

One positive thing apart from education about SJCE is placement.Morethan 50+ companies of various technology visit SJCE and select more than 80% of the students to provide them with a bright career.Every student gets the opportunity to participate in the selection process.We can either join a core of your domain knowledge or mass companies like IBM, TCS, WIPRO etc.The job opportunities are very high if you study in SJCE.

SJCE polymer science and Technology will celebrate national level conference every 3 years for 3 days called POLYCON.For this technical conference person from various colleges across the country and present the paper of their research and projects. As a college fest, SJCE will have JCiana every year.It's a big festival takes place for 3 days with extra curriculum activities.Various known artist visit the college and perform for students.Apart from SJCE other college students also visit the college to experience the glimpse of JCiana.

Fees structure varies as per the branch we choose.If it is government seat then it's very feasible for an ordinary income category.However, if we get a seat through COMET-K examination then we need to pay for the management for the seat which might be bit expensive.But, compared to other colleges I feel fee structures are feasible.

I have not taken any scholarship or loan.However, I know there was a lot of scholarship provided for backward class people and extremely top students who excel in the studies.

It's a great campus and college to study and be with people.You can easily mingle with anyone in the college.No ragging, hence seniors were very helpful.Apart from the mechanical department, all other department had an equal ratio of genders.Well equipped labs and college also support sports.various events will be organised by various departments(forgot the events name :P)

I have not stayed in a hostel, so I am not pretty much sure about the hostel.However, hearing from my friend's hostel facility is not that bad.College has boys and girls hostel separately.Each room is shared by 3 people.They have strict rules followed in the hostel.

SJCE keeps in touch with all the alumni.They have common floor to talk and discuss, through which job opportunities are high as various people are scattered in different parts of the world.I am really t thankful for SJCE, faculty and seniors.Because of them, I am what I am today.Seniors/Alumni still post job requirement to HOD so that it gets circulated throughout the database email addresses.

The college is Autonomous and has point system evaluation.It has 5 Internal assessment which might include test, quiz, seminar, assignments.And an external examination for 100 marks.A grade will be evaluated based on both internal and external assessment.The lab will there weekly twice and the have the final, at the end of the semester which includes regular lab assessments and final test.

In my time, we had to counsel in Bangalore and choose college and course as per the ranking we get in CET examination.In that process, I chose SJCE college and Polymer Science and Technology as my course because I knew I will succeed in my life if I have studied in SJCE.Finally, I received the confirmation for admission.As it was Government aided college I had to pay less fee yearly compared to other colleges.I had to show the confirmation letter and fees paid in the college administration department and rest of the process will be guided by them.

Very highly qualified lecturers with abundant knowledge and command on the subject will make any students learn and excel in the subject.The faculty is very helpful and be there for you at any time to help you with your doubts and for clarifications.Head of the department is so down to earth personality will help students to grab the opportunity to get a job in every possible way after graduation.
