What Students Say

Likes

College campus is very facinating,many trees are there in campus with lots of plants.
As I have mentioned above some faculty are very helpful and good.
College is trying to improve Placements by hard although placemets are up to the mark.

Dislikes

Exam question paper is totally different what we taught here compare to other colleges.
Scatterd campus- KIIT ca.pus is about 700 acres but it is in scatterd way some part is 2 km away from main campus while other part is 1.5 km.
Students - Not all students here comes from for studying purpose they shild take exam more seriously and in a strict manner.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I was getting CSE in this college, I will advise every junior to choose CSE or IT branch. Some faculty members are very good at teaching and very helpful during 2nd semester. All faculty members are very experienced and have done PhD from prestigious universities across the world. Exams are always held timely can be before the given time .:)

Internships Opportunities

Many companies come here for an internship in 3rd year but students should have some good projects and a tight hold on the coding part i.e Data Structure and Algorithms. The students who have good knowledge and projects + cgpa get calls from the placement cell.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible to appear for placement from the 5th semester i.e. from the 3rd year. Companies start visiting on campus from the month of December 300-400 Companies come for placement . Many students take placements while some of them choose higher studies. Companies visits are Sap Labs, Amazon, Atlassian, Accenture, JP Morgan, VmWare, PwC and many more...

Fees and Financial Aid

So, You guessed right fees are quite high in this college almost 18 lakhs. If you are a studious child then you will get a good scholarship. Students who ranked from 1-1000 in KIITEE entrance will get 10,000/- month till the fourth year unless or until your cgpa >7.5.

Campus Life

The annual fest of this college is named "KIITFEST".There are many clubs and societies in this college for different branches. Some website and apps are developed by seniors in which there is PYQ of university and notes are available.

Hostel Facilities

Basically, there are various types of hostels available for boys 2-bed(AC/NON-AC), 3-bed(AC/NON-AC). I personally live in 3 bed Non-Ac. It has unlimited wifi facility available with very high speed sometimes it may fluctuate.

Hostel Fee: INR 28000 per year

Admission

Yes, There is one entrance exam just after JEE MAINS in 3 phases in every phase some students take admission. The exam name is KIITEE, it happens in CBT mode same as JEEMAINS difficulty level is lower than JEEMAINS.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
