KIIT: A wonderful place

I choose the CSE course for BTech. The faculty is overall good. The teachers are helpful and ready to solve your doubts. The student ratio Is approx 80 in class. Exams were held in two sessions, first is your mid-sems which is 20 marks and the second is of end-sems which is of 50 marks.

Many reputed companies come for internships. For example Dell, Amazon etc offers internship to students with a starting stipend of 10k. The benefit of doing an internship is that the projects you do will help ad boost your CV at the time of placement.

As per my knowledge Internship starts in the 6th semester. There are many prestigious companies which come to KIIT for job offers. As I am a CSE student the average package for CSE is about 10 to 12 lacs per annum. I may be wrong but as per the sources, last year's highest package for CSE was 52 lacs. I plan to get an internship with knowledge so that I can crack the in-campus placements with a good package.

The fee structure is like 1,75 lakhs per semester. this is only for tuition fees. You will have to pay according to your hostel selection i.e 2 bed non-ac or 2-bed ac or 3-bed ac or 3-bed non-ac. Then there is 22500 for the mess fee per semester. You can also find the fee structure on their websites for the latest updates

Many fests happen throughout the year. Last year KIIT was celebrating its silver jublee and for that, there was a fest named KIIT Karnival which goes for almost 2 weeks with regular entertainment and games. There is also a Central library which has a huge collection of books. There are several floors for several courses in the library. The sports facilities are also very good. You will find many sports activities as per your choice to participate. There are also many Societies or clubs present as per your interest.

So From my experience the hostel facilities are very good. I opted for 2 bed non ac room and got hostel KP-19. The wardens are very polite and helpful. If you have any problem in the hostel you just need to contact the warden and they make sure that your problem will be solved within a day.

You can find the application form on its official website. The examination is known as KITEEE. At my time I have given this exam online. After clearing you will receive the mail and joining letter if you qualified. Then you will proceed to further process.
