Remarks

Although the mentality of students and most of the faculty is great but mentality of VCs Director and our warden is very bad they don't allow girl student to come out from their hostels after 9:30pm sharp.

Entrance Preview

Entrance exam - JEE MAINS Score 150 marks Rank around 90000 I wanna pursue Civil engineering and I choose my best option.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course structure was quite well defined and covers all the subject for what a civil engineer must learn including the personality development course too. and also during 4th year their main focus is on project and research work only so that student can learn some practical knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, earlier they were providing us the internship in all branches but now no internship is provided in civil engineering branch.

Placement Experience

3

For Civil Core Company, there is no such placement and Job opportunities. But If we talk About CS/IT branch there are many for those who can grab it. Amazon, SAP lab, Kulizo, etc such big companies approach our college including the INFOSYS and TCS as they are available in every college.

College Events

4

Fresher's party- Quite Good, there is a cultural night, and before 2 years DJ night was also there that has been removed without any reason. Sports fest- 3 day event which is an open fest any college can participate. Volleyball, basketball, badminton, chess, table tennis, handball these are the main games, don't have bigger ground that is why no cricket and football. Intra Musical fest Technical fest- Again an open fest of 2 days. Cultural fest- 3 days open fest including DJ nights and star nights.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I will say That it is a reasonable fee structure comparing to other colleges with similar standards. My fees structure is as follows Rs.1,20,000 per semester in which hostel, mess and laundry charges are included.

Fees and Financial Aid

Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan has set up an initial corpus of Rs 20 lacs for the William Webster Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship to be provided to eligible students from the income earned by way of Interest from the corpus. The scholarship would be provided to the students admitted to the Jaypee Education System across the 3 Campuses from the Academic Year 2004 onwards through a transparent mechanism by a Scholarship Committee set up for the purpose. Selected students will get a tuition fee waiver for the year up to a maximum of Rs.25,000/-. All scholarship amounts will be adjusted against the tuition fees of the year in which approved. Eligibility Criteria for Award • Combined Income of the parents/guardian should be less than or equal to Rs.1.5 lacs per annum. • Merit is determined on the basis of following weightages of marks obtained in classes 10, 10+2 and performance in B.Tech. first Semester. Class 10: 15% Class 10+2: 35% B.Tech. 1st Semester: 50%

Campus Life

3.5

A great diversity of cultural is present with a decent gender ratio( About 50%). people are from UP, Bihar, Punjab, J&K, Himachal, Haryana, Delhi and Bhutan also. extracurricular activities are all time active some or anther competion are always held like MUN, Debate, dance, singing, coding, Bridge designing, Painting, sports etc. And most good thing people present here are very open minded so I personally say That it improved my social life and communication skills.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels rooms are quite big enough and shared by two students, if you want a single separate room you must pay an additional amount of RS. 15000 per year. Food is healthy and not at all oily and spicy. breakfast, lunch and dinner is provide along with fruits two times a day and milk in the dinner.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, Alumni are always in touch with us infact we have separate club which deals in alumni affairs only. Sometime they fund our competitions and arrange sponsors for the sake of students.

Exam Structure

I will say it a decent pattern of examination, because not only this college. Every college must change their system as they are based on checking cramming not the knowledge. By the way it is good and not so much hectic. Student can learn any skill without worrying about exam though.

Admission

Stage first - Fill up of application form after JEE MAINS score announced. Stage two - attending the counselling for the confirmation of seat at their described date. Stage three- registration and further admission procedure. stage four - commencement of classes.

Faculty

4

Faculty of our college is very kind and helpful, they always ready to teach if a student wanna learn. They even help you out whether they teach you or not. They are our mentors also. as far as I know all of them are highly qualified and experienced professors.

Students can sit for job drives from the 7th term. In our college, firms like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra visit. Most jobs are in coding, support, or test fields. The top pay was around ?10 LPA for a dev job. The usual pay is 3–4 LPA for most jobs. Nearly 60–70% of CS/IT students get jobs. Core jobs are less for other fields. My goal is to work for 1–2 years in tech and then go for higher study or skill-based role in top firm or startup.
