- Food in the mess is comparatively much better than other universities
- Infrastructure is good there are plenty of computer labs and classrooms
- Hostel rooms are spacious and balcony with good view
Dislikes
- Classes should be attended as attendance criteria is very strict
- Hostelers are not allowed to keep their personal vehicle
- University is almost 3 km away from nearest city or bus stand for which we have to pay 200 rupees for taxi which is very expensive
Course Curriculum Overview
I was influenced to choose CSE without specialisation at Jaypee University because it had a good reputation also they give a choice in second year for specialisation in my interest of field like cyber security, artificial intelligence and machine learning. Exams are held here three times they teach for one month and then take exams and the syllabus for tha same is topics that are covered before the exams like classes were started in August exams were held in September first week then exams were held on October last week and then third exams were held in December before winter break
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for my university is 1.5 lakh per semester and 80k per semester hostel fees and 20k security fees there was no other charges other than this also registeration fees that was almost 2500 I don't think there was as such any scholarship
Campus Life
The campus life is good as you can play most of the sports u want. They frequently organises movie nights for students They organise two main events one sports meet or known as parakram and annual fest La fiesta. There are various clubs here technical clubs aur social clubs both of them are there. If you want you can join theatre where you can do acting
Hostel Facilities
There are double sharing and single room only. Rooms are quite spacious and clean, there is hot air available in winters. Food is quite good comparatively to other universities and menu is changed every month They charge for the same is around 1,60,000 per annum
Admission
I had got admission in Jaypee noida but in 128 sector and also stream was IT which I didn't preferred so I left that. I chose this university because it's in mountains I wanted to live in a cold and polution free environment which I'm getting here also university's past placement record was also decent. My College accept addmission through cbse boards score and jee main score both of them
Faculty
The CSE faculty is comparatively good as most of the teachers are phd scholars aur have already done their phd and are also friendly with students Exam system here is that three t Exams are taken here one month study then exams T1 T2 T3 which are of 15 marks 25 marks 35 marks
Night Life
There's nothing much to do at night you cannot go out of university campus first year are not allowed to go out of their hostel after 10 pm and girls after 9 30 pm Cafeteria, gym and sports area closes at 11 pm library is open till 12 am. There are treks near university like tara devi trek, hill top trek. Senior hostel has no intime they can roam in university at any time but campus in timings are 8 pm in summers and 7 30 in winters
