Which is better, JUIT Solan or JUET Guna, for civil engineering?

In terms of Civil engineering, both the colleges, JUIT Solan and JUET Gunaare good colleges to learn from and for overall development. But the latter comparatively has an edge over the former. Academics: JUET Guna campus is sprawled in multiple folds, over more than 125 acres. The civil engineering lab at JUET GUNA is more equipped than JUIT Solan from what I have heard from many of my seniors. Due to the much bigger campus, you can use up the instruments more efficiently. Placements: As far as the placement is concerned, both are nearly the same. If you want to go to a non-core Job you can easily get it with good effort or else if you opt for core jobs then they conduct pool campus drives specifically at different locations. The fee structure is reasonably set up with a chance for almost every strata of society to get into the institution and avail of quality education. There was no fee hike during my time at the institution but for new admissions, a hike was in place from year to year.

It was great experience of learning

Fees were increased for new enrolments every year. For a student enrolled on a 4-year course basic tuition fee remained the same for the entire course. Hostel charges varied accordingly. Many MTech students were there they had to pay fewer fees and got stipends too.

Civil engineering life

The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private universities. The campus provides jobs and also internships for each department, campus placement offered to the Student is Highly appreciated, it also helps in startups.

Jaypee University is best

The fees structure Tuition fees 95000/sem & Hostel fees -63000/sem . It will cost u around 13-14 lakhs for B.Tech . Every year the fees of Hostel is Increased and Tuition fees . It's their in the site . There is no hidden charges as such college charges you. There William Webster Scholarship scheme for Economically Weaker Section and 20% Discount for Wards whose parents are serving in Indian Army.

No, I haven't opted for any scholarship as my families financial condition is quite good and yes there may be scholarship but I don't know about it.

Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan has set up an initial corpus of Rs 20 lacs for the William Webster Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship to be provided to eligible students from the income earned by way of Interest from the corpus. The scholarship would be provided to the students admitted to the Jaypee Education System across the 3 Campuses from the Academic Year 2004 onwards through a transparent mechanism by a Scholarship Committee set up for the purpose. Selected students will get a tuition fee waiver for the year up to a maximum of Rs.25,000/-. All scholarship amounts will be adjusted against the tuition fees of the year in which approved. Eligibility Criteria for Award • Combined Income of the parents/guardian should be less than or equal to Rs.1.5 lacs per annum. • Merit is determined on the basis of following weightages of marks obtained in classes 10, 10+2 and performance in B.Tech. first Semester.
