How's is life at Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology

I personally had a great interest in computer science and engineering. That's why I choose this branch in my college. Professors here really nice except for few. I would like to mention that the cse departmental proff. are very good especially HOD who is very student friendly. Student to teacher ratio is 1:30 .Teachers here highly qualified and teaches well. Terms exams are held in about 3-6 months of gap. Semester exams have difficultu of moderate to a bit hard. Max number of students pass the exams.

there are various companies that offers the internship and learning program and give performance certificate like TATA, CIDCO, TCS, TATA MOTORS, MAHINDRA, WIPRO, ORACALE and many more we have to do certain projects to make it easy to get intern

I don't now much about the fees policy but the fees structure is about 550000 for complete 4 year btech programme There are many scholarship everone can apply for SVMCM,JINDAL,OASIS plus there are on campus job available

There are many fest and annual function for the students and faculty .Paridhi is is one of the largest fest of the college which is organised by megatronix club of college which offers huge cash prizes on winning.College has many facilities like Laboratory , Canteen , Library and workshops e.t.c. There are many clubs in college such as Megatronix, Sargam, Yuva ,Rotatax.

There is no college hostel. I live in private hostel. there are many private hostels around college. Facilities here are very nice. However, Meal quality vary from bad to moderate .Seniors at hostel are really really nice . They treat us like there own brothers.

Admission in Meghnad Saha For Btech is done through Wbjee ,Jee Mains,and Management quota. I entered the college through Wbjee by scoring a rank under 12k. Every year around April Wbjee forms are released. Application fees is around 500. The overall cutoff for WBJEE is 16870 - 30063 rank.
