Course Curriculum Overview

In my college, there are 3 unit test for every b tech course you take and one semester every two years and the syllabus are provided by makaut faculties are good and the student ratio is 1:10 for boys and girls

various companies offer internship and learning programs and give performance certificates like TATA, CIDCO, TCS, TATA MOTORS, MAHINDRA, WIPRO, ORACLE and many more we have to do certain projects to make it easy to get an intern

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is about 85k on admission including 1st sem fee its around 75k to 60k for the remaining semester there are many scholarships everyone can apply for SVMCM, JINDAL, and OASIS plus there are on-campus jobs available

Campus Life

the ongoing annual fest is paridihi one of the main fest in our college there is a welcome fest for first years and tech fest megatronix presented by seniors Our college is not very active in sports there is only a cricket league presented by our college

Admission

the admission process is simple when you are qualified by WBJEE you can apply for online counselling or rather you can apply through management quota if you are not eligible for counselling it cost you extra than the regular fee

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

MSIT KOLKATA COLLEGE REVIEW

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
