Course Curriculum Overview

3

A course curriculum is a series of courses that students take in an academic program. Curricula are designed by faculty and often revised following student input. Faculty members can do to improve students' Learning. Faculty members are asked to submit their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd preference for the subject, It is ideal if every faculty member is assigned their 1st preference.

Internships Opportunities

4

Research shows that graduates with work experience are more likely to be hired. Once they are in a job they are more likely to be successful. As well as an opportunity to sample a job or an industrial area to see if it suits you, finding out what is not right for you is just as valuable, by the end of your work.

The highest package offer during B. Tech Placement .B.Tech CSE placement 2023 stood at INR 41 LPA. Guwahati recorded a total of 168 offers made by 46 companies on day one which included 2 international offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

A fee structure is a chart or list highlighting the rates on various business services or activities. The opportunity scholarship is a program that helps families who make below a certain amount of income pay tuition and fees at Direct Payment University. This program provides some financial help if you lose your job, temporarily or permanently, through no fault of your own.

Campus Life

3.5

College life is incomplete if you don't live it on campus. You wake up due to your roommate's alarm at 5 am while he sleeps till noon. You share everything soap, clothes, toothpaste, videos, and whatnot with your roomie. Economic opportunity, certainly. Engaging and challenging architecture, maybe.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not really good in our college, it is more of a research institute so it mainly focuses on PhD as PhD strength is good. Higher education is more prefered here but placement scenario is also good

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant and is different for different branches according to their needs. I was interested in civil engineering and chose the course and find the curriculum intersting and relevant for me . The curriculum offers subject which are important for real world applications, like in civil engineering it's offers subjects like building construction, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, material testing, serving, etc. The course curriculum is very good but the teaching methods needs improvement like more digitalization . The exams frequency and timings are neither too late nor too early, they are perfectly planned and executed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There exists a good teaching staff that's why the course is very easy to understand also teachers give us good examples also do practicals so that's students understand the course easily . I see that there exist a low no of equipments in practical lab compare to it's students ratio so if they have a good no of equipments then all students get equipment to do experiment without any waste of time . Time is good as compare to marks and the first 30 marks are beginner level the other 40 marks are intermediate level and the remaining 30 Marks are advanced level questions in a question paper for the students they published.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario is quite good, with several reputed companies like General Electric, Power Grid Corporation of India, Goldman Sachs, among others recruiting 94 percent of the students in the college. The placement takes place in three rounds, one testing one's aptitude, followed by an hour round, finally leading on to a technical round. Mock interview and job cracking sessions are organized regularly, both by the departments, and also the Training and Placement Cell, to prepare students for the interviews and examinations going forward. The Training and Placement Cell also provides internship opportunities at the end of third year for the students, based on their aptitude and abilities

Remarks:

I have mostly positive remarks about college except for the fact that the college is situated really far from mainstream north India. Train connectivity is not that strong to rest of country. But despite that the college is extremely good in the sense of learning, meeting new innovative minds, and of course placements and jobs.
