Likes

The location of the college is very nice the place is very quiet and nice
The teacher are helpful and the seniors are very helpful
There are many extra curricular activities like msl ànd coding camps

Dislikes

The timing of collage is too much in my opinion
The canteens food was the quantity bad but now it's ok
Many teachers are helpful but they give different syllabus than taught in class

Course Curriculum Overview

I got computer science engineering in this college. The faculty of my college is very good there are 30 teachers in the first year (in the basic science department). The physics paper in the first sem exam was really hard but maths was also hard.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of this college was moderate considering the other private colleges. I got a student credit card loan from the government which helped my father a lot with the fees. I have heard there have been many nice alumni who have got nice jobs after completing their degrees.

Campus Life

The campus is nice. The newly renovated canteen is very good. The food is good now, I was really happy there is a small playing area in the canteen and there have been many sports and all other types of activities for gaming, and coding. We got the freshers from our seniors they were really humble.

Admission

The Eligibility In this course. JEE and 10+2. got this collage from my WBJEE counseling and the cutoff was 20000 this year. I got into this college after the first counseling which was at kolaghat. I got meghnad Saha in my 2nd round of counseling. I was happy at that moment.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality
