Course Curriculum Overview

I want to be a software developer so i choose this course. The faculty: student ratio is reliable. Faculty members are well-educated and helpful. They gave enough time to solve our problems. Exams are taken timely but it is hard to score good marks as time is short.

Many renowned companies like McAfee, Infosys, practo, TCS Digital, Accenture, ThoughtWorks, Evosys, Byju's, Wipro, and Chegg come every year to give the opportunity to the students to join and work with them.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is clear and well-defined. The cost to study in this college is slightly high for a student from the middle class. But there is a chance of scholarship and this is really helpful. Campus jobs are available.

Campus Life

There are many clubs like 'Yuva', and 'Megatronix' in our college and they organized a cultural fest which is very exciting. Our fresher's party was mesmerizing. But the main problem is that size of the campus is small and lacks a playground. The number of books in the library should be increased.

Admission

The Eligible Criteria is 10+12 and JEE. I found all the information like the application form, application fees, and application dates on the website. The admission process is safe and trustworthy. But I faced some problems during the admission. It might be a server problem.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
