So many labs available in the college, language lab, chemistry lab etc everything
Very peaceful surrounding. No noise pollution.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is Computer Science and engineering. The curriculum is very good. You will get a chance to learn a huge category of things. The faculty members are also very cooperative. Their behavior is very nice.

Class Size: 61Course Fees: INR 550000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement cell is pretty much good. The average package is 4.4L per year in this college. The college has some Tie-ups with companies like TCS etc. If you don't get a job still you can get placement from off-campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is a little bit high, 5.50 Lakh total. 1 sem - 85000, 2nd - 75000, 3 and 4 sem - 66000, 5 and 6 sem - 65000, and 7 and 8 sem - 64000. You can apply for many scholarships such as OASIS, swami Vivekananda Merit cum, etc. They have a very good placement cell.

Campus Life

College life is very amazing, there are many fests like - Techxtra, Paridhi, footprints, and many more. You can take part in anything. You will enjoy this. There are many more fest in the college throughout the year. The library of the college is big.

Admission

I gave Wbjee. You need a minimum below 20000 ranks to have admission to this college for sure. I ranked 24000 so I got a chance in the second round of the counseling process. You can also take admission to this college by giving jee main.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality
