Likes

The best thing I liked about this college is The library.
The regularity of the classes and the lab facilities is really nice
The institute has a very disciplined schedule and strict attendance policy

Dislikes

The campus is really small with no auditoriums.
the institute does not have a playground for the students.
There is no place for the students to relax. The area is really congested.

Course Curriculum Overview

I willingly chose this course to have more career opportunities. The faculty is really good. A maximum of them are IITians. They are quite innovative in teaching and really helpful. The terms are held for a duration of nearly six months .

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 550000 per year

Placement Experience

From the seventh semester, students are eligible for campus placements. The companies are namely Wipro, infosys, TCS, cognizant, Sopra Steria and CTS. The average package is about 4.8 LPA. 80% of students are getting placements every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is about 5.5 lacs in 4 years which is a private institution in West Bengal. It is affordable for some but it's high for many. However, we can access scholarships or can also get admission in TFW(Tuition Fee Waiver) quota.

Campus Life

The college conducts technical fests for the Freshers like TechXtra, Cultural fests like Vocations and Paridhi etc in the month of February, March and April. The library is probably the best place on the whole campus according to me. There are also cricket and soccer leagues.

Admission

I got into this college through WBJEE counselling which is the west Bengal Joint entrance examination held in April 2022. You can fill out its application form in the government portal of wbjee. The application fees vary from 300 to 500. You can also avail of SC/ST/OBC/TFW quota.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

The curriculum under MAKAUT is quite comprehensive, which is one of the reasons I choose this course. Reality of IIT KGP

Placement Experience:

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

MSIT KOLKATA COLLEGE REVIEW

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
