Course Curriculum Overview

computer science students get more opportunities in placement. The faculty members are quite good. Approximately 100 faculty members are there in the college. In this college not so much difficult to pass the exam if students' preparation is well

Placement Experience

From the 6th Semester, students are eligible for campus placement. Over 300+ companies visited here like amazon, byju, TCS, infosys etc and almost everyone gets placed. The highest package is 15Lpa and the average package is 6-7 Lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for btech Computer Science Engineering is approximately 5,50,000 for 4 years course. West Bengal students get SVMCM(Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means) Scholarships if he/she got more than 60% in class 12 boards

Campus Life

As this college is located in Kolkata where there is a shortage of places. The campus is small compared to other colleges. Tech fest and annual fest occur by Megatronix. Many books are available in libraries and digital libraries also

By wbjee exam, anyone can join the college which occurs once a year and the cutoff is approximately 20k-25k for west Bengal students. Anyone can go through the application on wbjee website for details about the exam

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
