My college experience

i took b.tech course here as the faculty is good and quite experienced . most of the faculty is a doctrate holder or is pursuing phd .the studends to teacher ratio is about 60:1 as each class of 60 students has its own class advisor . also there is strictness in interenals as you have to work har to get good marks which also generates a feeling of responsibility . the terms are held timely and it is moderate in terms of scoring.

there are many internship oppurtunities avaliable in collage from companies like amazon and drdo alos students get the chance to work in some iits offerded . the internship oppurtunities are not that high so you may have to do a side hustle . there are also some projects currently going on such as uav drones and etc. and they are quite succesful

the placements are quite good and sufficient enough , there are many company that come to offer like amazon zs electronics etc. the students become eligible for internships from 5 semester onwards and for placement 7th semester onwards. the highest package is around 44 lpa where as the average package stands near 8 lpa . around 70% students get placed . my plan is to do a master's degree .

the fee structure is quite good and its is set around 1.5 lac per annum and gets a very nominal hike . there are many scholorship oppurtunities for scholarship both from university and and government of delhi . which can make it quite affordable to study . and there is quite good condition in terms of campus jobs . both big companies along with mass recruiters com . there also come many intership oppurtunities with stipende upto 1 lac per month.

the campus life i would like to say is quite good but not the best as the campus is not so big but you will hardly be able to not find any resource you need . our annual fest which is known as XTASY and tech fest which is known as BVIEST are mosty in the months of march and april . there is also a full fledged library with all the books you need along with a book bank for you semistral courses . the classes are fully furnished and have a projector and 2 ac . there are many sports like cricket , football , basktball etc. there are many social groups and clubs run by students such as tedx , enactus etc

The admission is held through ggsipu councelling on the basis of your jee mains rank . for admission you should have appeared in jee mains and have got the required cutoff to get a seat . there is 85% reservation for delhi students and 155 reservation for non-delhi students . also there is 15-20% reservation for reserved categories . but the councelling process takes a lot of time
