I chose IT because I have a passion for it and it has good placements. Faculty: student ratio in our college is 1:25 which is pretty good. teachers pay good attention to students. Faculties are well qualified. majority of them are Ph.D. holders and have vast teaching experience. they are quite friendly and teach in a very good manner. they are always keen to take doubts. term exams are very chill in our college. one can easily score good marks by studying 1 week before exams.

tech internships opportunities are very less in our college. majority of internships are research-based internships with very low or zero stipend. the average stipend is about 25k here. only 5 percent of students get internships. projects to get internships are told by professors.

Placements of our college is below average. 3rd year students become eligible for internship opportunities and 4th year students for full time opportunities. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, ZS, and Accenture do come and give good packages to a few students. other students are placed in service-based companies like Infosys, Wipro,hcl ,tcs, etc with the low packages. The highest package is 45lpa(Microsoft) and the average package is 7 LPA only. The percentage of students placed is very low over here ie 65 percent in reality. my plan is to become a blockchain developer.

course fees for four years in our college are around 8 lakhs in our college which is pretty less in comparison to other engineering colleges. however, those students who cannot afford this amount are provided with various scholarships and loans. loans can be availed easily in our college at a fair rate of interest. various scholarships for girls, single girl children, ews groups, etc are provided.

Xtasy is our annual fest which is I would say decent enough. It is organized in the month of April every year. The library is big enough and has all the books for different departments in our college. classroom infrastructure is old and small like any other old government college. The sports facilities are good. sports theatre, gym, the big ground for cricket and football, and other sports equipment are present on our campus. There are a lot of clubs in bvcoe according to the different interests of students like aagaz(music), zaahir(theatre), BVP-IEEE, ACM-BVP, etc.

Eligibility criteria for btech admission, 75 percent in any class 12 recognized board overall in PCME. entrance exam-jee mains or ipucet organized by ipu only. Application form available on the ipu website. the application fee is 1200 and dates are announced before jee mains. reservation benefits are given to sc/st/obc/ews groups as well as to girls. The current admission process has many unrequired formalities which need to be removed.
