- the thing i liked the most is the sports facilities at campus , i love it
- other is the hostel life at IIT DELHI , you spend your life's most enjoying hours at the hostels
- the annual festivals including RDV and TRYST .
Dislikes
- the study curriculum is too much loaded , you run all day for classes and labs , but again it has its own fun
- another thing is the hard courses you need to be a fighter to get a good grade in the courses
- too much politics is here in IIT DELHI , i mean everything happening must have a political background
Course Curriculum Overview
i have intereset in mechanics and also interested in CS , so choose this course and yeah it is really nice the faculty student ratio is balanced , whenever you need to meet a professional in some feild you can always find someone in the college , the teaching contect and teaching method of all the faculties are really very well , all the faculties are master in there feild and all have done phd from various famous colleges in the world .
Internships Opportunities
in IIT DELHI , in the pre final year of a student , everyone have to do interships in the summer breaks , either oncampus intern or offcampus interns . there is a long process to get oncampus intern , you have to apply for companies and then pass their exams then interviews but the companies who visit here are the most known and good companies , it includes foreign intern also and stipend given is also very much satisfying . the companies take test and then based on the shortlist take interviews then select some student to provide intern . these companies mainly includes technical , core , consulting , teaching and analytical roles
Placement Experience
placements in IIT DELHI is very very good , almost every final year students gets placed in his 7th semester , yeah the placements starts in the 7th semester , there are thousands of companies who visit here to hire students including google microsoft etc. 75% of the students who are in there final year gets placed in IIT DELHI my plan is to secure a good job
Fees and Financial Aid
fees is comparetively lower than any good private engineering college , based on your category the total fees for a semester would vary , and if you have less than 1 lac per annum income than you dont have to pay the tuition fee . i also not paying the tuition fee and also my mess fee is free ,
Campus Life
the annual cultural fest is RENDEZVOUS which is the asias largest college festival , it is conducted in march and also the technical fest is known as TRYST both the fests are very anjoying . library facilities are provided to all the students , and you can borrow books and return them when time is over IIT DELHI has a rich culture in sports and extra curricular activities , all the sports are availeble in campus and you can play anything you want , also there are various clubs working in the campus , these are cultural , technical social and sports clubs whose leaders are students themselves
Hostel Facilities
hostel rooms are well maintained and all hostels have there own mess for meal and snacks and in every semester you have to pay hostel charges to register for hostel and extra mess charges for food facilities and you only get a hostel if your home is more than 20KM away from the campus
Admission
to be eligible for admission in IIT DELHI , or any other iit colleges in india , you have to qualify 12th with heigher than 75% marks , and then you have to qualify both JEE MAINS ans JEE ADVANCED exams . you can apply for both these exams after your 12th and cut offs includes reservation benefits , cutoff for general category is high , for BC and SC ST cutoffs are low
