Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is elaborated and the faculties at the college are really interactive. Using modern-day tech for delivering lectures. Easily approachable for doubts. I chose mech Engineering as I want to appear for UPSC CSE and Engineering provides a higher aptitude. Mentors are allotted for every 20-25 students. Faculties are highly qualified. Term exams are conducted every 5 months and they are a challenge. Timely studying will make us pass with flying colours
Placement Experience
College provide campus placements but most of them are for IT sector. The jobs offered in corr branches are very less nearly 20-25 per batch . I personally target for UPSC CSE. I personally think I am not for a desk job whereas upsc because of its diverse nature attracts alot including me. 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Highest package offered on campus is 45Lpa whereas off campus placement reacher 1.2 crpa whereas avg packages are of 8lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees in IPU are minimal. The total course fee for btech is 5.5L which is less than compared to other renounced institutes. Jobs are offered in the IT sector whereas in core departments there are lesser jobs. The college provides financial assistance to economically disadvantaged people
Campus Life
Campus life is MAIT is really chill. There are many sports in which students can indulge themselves into. The annual fest held in our college is MRIDANG which happens in April every year. We have a library with vast collections not only for BTECH but also for other subjects such as psychology sociology polity history etc. Classrooms at our college are basic with not many facilities. There are various societies at our college ranging from the motorsport society to the aerospace society
Admission
The admission process was simple. It was based on the scores of JEE Mains. The application process was completely online through the IPU website. The course is of 4 years duration. The cut-off for my college is different for different branches but for my branch ( mech eng) it was 80 percentile. I secured 90.67 percentile. I chose mechanical choice. There are reservations for certain sections.
