Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the BA economics honors course because I love economics and maths and wanted to pursue a career in finance. The faculty-student ratio would be 1:70. Teachers are quite qualified and they have a lot of experience in their respective fields with a lot of teaching experience as well. They are nice, approachable, and also take pain in teaching.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 9200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are just 9200 Rs. which I think is quite nominal. There are scholarships that are provided by Delhi University that can be availed. Also, there are regular internship programs and opportunities that can be availed so as to handle any financial hardships.

Campus Life

Annual fest of Kalindi College is Lehren and is usually conducted in the months of february and march. The library is well equipped with books and journals that are needed by any student and/or faculty. The classrooms are typical government college classrooms. Our college has plethora of extra curricular activities and it's really fun. There is something for everybody.

Admission

We had to give CUET exam to get into Delhi University. The application form was found on the official site of CUET which is conducted by NTA. I did not avail of any reservation benefits as such but there are a lot of benefits for those who come under reserved categories.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

Placement Experience:

SRCC has one of the best campuses and our basketball court is so famous that many movies too have been promoted and shot there. Our campus is big too and our auditorium is such that many top personalities have come and spoken there. Even leaders like Barrack Obama too had an interaction with SRCC students in an open air event.

As per the marks I scored in CUET I think my college is best as it does not charge lakhs of rupees and also provide good environment. One of the reason I chose this college is that it is all girls. Kalindi: The off Campus Star of DU !

There were several Reasons to choose Kalindi: It's an all girls college so it felt comparatively more Safer than the Co-ed ones. Also, this might be an unpopular opinion but the Boys were not there to make mischiefs so there was a good built-in environment for Study. Girls were there to manage each and everything. Either it was NCC, NSS, Sports, Societies or even Student Union, girls were incharge of literally everything and it used to feel very proud and wholesome.
