I applied to IPU counselling through JEE mains. I didn't have many options but I was getting HMR university, Echleon institute of technology, Guru teg Bahadur 4th centenary college, etc. I chose this college because among other IP colleges it has a better placement ratio and good environment and crowd. I wanted colleges like Maharaja agrasen institute of technology, maharaja surajmal institute of technology, bhartiya vidhyapeeth which comes on top of IPU rank list but due to my JEE rank was not able to get it but I'm still content with what I have. I honestly didn't want to go to a private college , that was never my first choice even my last choice also but with my jee mains rank that was around one lakh ninety thousand I couldn't get any of the nits or some government college.The reason I chose this college because this college is affiliated to GGSIPU (guru gobind singh indraprastha university), so the degree is a government recognized one which can be valuable in the future.This was one of the main factor for me in the finalizing this college.
