Course Curriculum Overview

5

My course B.A (SSH) provides me with a vast and deep experience in the field of humanities and the faculty members made the course easier and more interesting for me. My college has a good teacher-student ratio with approximately 1 teacher over 50 students. We have end-semester exams every 6 months and weekly and monthly mock examinations to measure the student's performance. Each professor is a PhD degree holder and has a good experience in his field with the best teaching skills.

Internships Opportunities

4

Companies like unison international consulting, India school of public policy, Citibank, etc are some of the companies which have recently given the students a choice but as I had never been a part of a college internship I have no proper knowledge about the same.

Fees and Financial Aid

Even being a full govt. University, the fees per semester are on the higher side, from 22000 to 30000 per semester which varies on the courses, but students with reservations and with a poor background are given relaxation in the fees. Also, the university provides students with campus placement and internship opportunities and even internships.

Campus Life

3

The is quite calm and low on enthusiasm. People are more into studies and not much on other co-curricular activities irrespective of the fact that our college has the highest number of societies providing different experiences, like dance, drama, sports, etc. Societies. the college also organises a lot of fests throughout the year with a huge participation of students. The college has a huge library with almost every Facility a person can think of. The classroom is modern with every possible instrument a student needs to move with this era. The college has 5 big grounds dedicated to different sports.

Admission

The admission process was very easy because it was fully online and I just had to visit the college once for document verification. There was no entrance examination and was fully based on the cut-off system, the list started from 98% for some courses and went to 88%. I don't think that there is a need to make any change in the current process as it's just awesome.

The curriculum is not good. Delhi University should focus much better on the curriculum.. There's no need of subject like evs, swach bharat, and all for a college student... The timetable is manageable..

Placement Experience:

Placements of our college doesn't lack anything as students mostly opt for further studies but I have no issues saying that placements are also available if not in numbers. Let's be fair as jobs in current scenario are that many in comparison to the number of students that graduates every year. Still, Miranda House has done well to make sure that over 60-65% students get placements.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement but if we doing 4 years of college so 8 semester. Name of the companies visited. Zomato Amazon Uber Ibm There are around 70000 students who are eligible for the placement Asiants paints The highest and average package offered to the students is 35 LPA for highest and 3-4 LPA average. The percentage of a student must be above 80 percent if they want a average job but if a person want a job in great company they should have percentage around 90 to 95. My plans after getting the degree to become a lecturer. placements, especially for students in popular courses like commerce, economics, and science. The college often invites various companies for campus recruitment, and many students have secured jobs in reputable firms. the extent of placements can vary each year based on market conditions, the courses offered, and the students' performance. If campus placements are limited or not offered, students can still focus on enhancing their employability. By making them selves skillful growing them selves from iner side By skill Development Engage in skill-building activities such as online courses, workshops, or certifications that are relevant to your field. Skills in areas like data analysis, digital marketing, programming, or communication can significantly boost your employability. By Internships seek internships during your course. They provide practical experience and can often lead to job offers. Internships also help you build a professional network by Networking Attend industry events, seminars, and workshops to connect with professionals in your field. Networking can lead to job opportunities that may not be advertised and Higher Studies Consider pursuing further education, such as a master's degree or professional courses, which can enhance your qualifications and open up more job opportunities Entrepreneurship. We can start our own business from which we don't have to get depends on companies.
