Course Curriculum Overview
If you are opting for private colleges due to circumstances always chose the CSE branch because it will be best for your future. Faculty: Student ratio is 1:25 to 30 so yes it's great. Each faculty member is greatly qualified and has more than 5 years of teaching experience. Exams are monthly basis and moderately hard but if you read the subject not so hard to pass.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is Good with 316000/yr for B.Tech CSE and similar in other courses. Students can avail of Merit-based Scholarships accordingly to their 12th PCM percentage. For >=90% it's 30% of total fees and similar to it 20% waiver for >= 85 and 10% to >=80. The 10% scholarship is for immediate students whose siblings are studying at SMIT.
Campus Life
Kaalrav is the Annual Cultural fest it's a 3-day long event. TechAdrista is the Annual Techfest which is also a tech fest. Similar to its departmental techno-cultural fest is International Level Conference. The library is quite spacious with all kinds of resources like books, research papers, journals, and e-book options. Each classroom is installed with projectors and new screens are being set up now. Various Societies and Clubs are there like Coding, Music, Drama, Literally, etc. The gym is great here with flexible time for sports indoor area is there for basketball, badminton, table tennis, and snooker apart from it Squash court swimming pool and tennis ground is also there.
Admission
Best Private College in East Zone India. Eligibility is Merit Basis, Jee Mains score, and SMIT online test. Forms are Available on the Official Website of SMIT.
