- 8 a.m classes, in 1st sem. Our classes starts at 8.am for all the days
- There are many things made in china used by iitdhospital staff, even a b.p measuring device
- Workshop building infrastructure, it is old and not upto to world class
Course Curriculum Overview
I was fascinated by the combination of mechanical and computer science components merged in this course before applying for it. It is about 1:1, I think it's the best in iitdelhi. Faculties are highly qualified rocking in their respective domains.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies visited for intern hiring varying from I.T TO CONSULTING. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, Boston grp, elevation I am currently a 1st-year student so didn't know too much about the intern hiring process.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible from their 7th sm. I think Many companies visit like Microsoft, Google, quant box, and Boston grp. etc The highest was 4cr and the average was 16lakhs. No clue about it, it is variable in every branch To get a good placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure of iitd is very rigid. For the general students with a family income of more than 9lakhs, it costs around 1.2 lacs for 1 sem. For s.c, s.t students course fee is nill. But there are many scholarships that came from time to time and students got notified for the same as well.
Campus Life
ANNUAL FEST is rendezvous(march) and tech fest is a tryst Books are available in the library, but courses related books will not be available if u go late to issue them Classrooms are of world-class and of high quality
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are not as luxurious as students preparing for jee think, there's a small room for 2 people even the charging port is below the bed. Meal quality is variable sometimes good sometimes okay It will be done by the institute only. Not affordable thatuch
Admission
It was processed through jee mains and adv. Related dates will be available on the respective sites of jee mains and adv. One can easily access these on google. I was from ews category and got benefitted from the reservation. Reservation should be based on financial constraints and not on the caste system.
